ACMDTT Welcomes Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as Regulated Professionals

Starting July 6, 2026, Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (DMS) in Alberta will be officially regulated by the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Regulation gives Albertans an added layer of protection when they receive an ultrasound.
