Canadian Certified Playground Inspector (CCPI) training is coming to Moncton, October 27 to 30, 2026.

The course is open to anyone, and no prior playground safety experience is required. It is particularly useful for people who look after playgrounds: school district and facilities staff, municipal parks and recreation departments, installers, property managers, and community groups that own or operate a play space.

Over four days, participants learn to inspect playgrounds to CSA Z614, the Canadian standard for children’s play spaces and equipment. The course covers entrapment, entanglement, protrusions, crush and shear points, fall heights, use zones and protective surfacing, and how to document findings. Classroom theory is followed by practical training on site.

✔ Open to anyone, no previous playground safety experience required
✔ Relevant for school districts, municipalities, installers and playground owners
✔ Theory and practical training based on CSA Z614
✔ Leads to Canadian Certified Playground Inspector certification
