ADOPTION OPTIONS is committed to providing professional adoption services. Since 1984, we brought together over 2000 families in Alberta. Our focus remains to be providing support and options to anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy or parenting but struggling and wanting a different life for their child. As well, we support those dealing with fertility loss and considering their options in realizing their dreams of having a family. We work with all community agencies and organizations to bridge resources and meet our clients needs.

Tyler and Jenna love camping, hiking, concerts, movie nights, cooking together, yard games, and tackling DIY house projects, all while staying close to friends and family. They live in a small, family-oriented town where Tyler works as a mechanic and Jenna works from home as a project manager. They’re also the loving “paw-rents” of two friendly, fluffy doodles, Cooper and Jovi, who join them on every adventure and are just as happy cuddled up on the couch. The dogs adore children and will be every bit as excited as Tyler and Jenna when a little human joins the family.

With a shared love of animals and finding joy in being homebodies, they like ordering in, curling up on the couch after work, or chatting in the kitchen while Brendan cooks and Michael taste-tests.

Their relationship is grounded in steadiness, laughter, and the support of a close-knit community of family and friends.

As we continue into Fall, we are resuming our Birthparent Support Group series.

The meeting topic will be "Life after making an Adoption Plan, and Healthy Communication," where we will listen to each others' stories. There is great power in story sharing and the connection that comes from it. We would love to have you join us.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also recognized as Orange Shirt Day. 🧡

This day honours residential school survivors and the children who never returned home, and encourages Canadians to wear orange as a symbol that Every Child Matters.

Adoption Options offices will be closed in observance of the day and to participate in events across the province, giving us the chance to reflect, learn, and honour the victims and survivors of residential schools.

We invite all Friends & Family of AO to join us on this important day as we head down to Heritage Park to educate, honour, and act.

We acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 nations in Southern Alberta and the Métis Nation, Region 3, as well as Treaty 6 and Treaty 8 in Edmonton and Northern Alberta.

Meet Erin & Garth!

They have been togther for 14 years and married for 9. Their 12 year old bulldog Jax, keeps to his nap shcedule and is always ready for snacks.

Erin and Garth love sports and both partake in coaching. They stay active between swimming, skating, and pickleball. They love to travel and are alwqays adding to their list of destinations.

Ana Carolina and Danilo met in university back in 2007 and have been going strong ever since.

They like to travel and are always checking off another province they have visited in their trailer. They love time with family and friends and then a good movie on a Sunday night.

Our upcoming Adoptive Parent Group will be held via Zoom, on September 28, 2026 at 6:30pm. The session topic is “Parenting After Adopting”, and will be hosted by Adoption Options’ social worker, Cara Hoffman. Registration information will be shared via email along with a detailed overview of the year’s dates, topics, and descriptions.
