Time Flies When You’re Having Fun!

It is with tremendous pride and excitement that I announce that this coming week on Tuesday July 7th, Edson Family Chiropractic and Natural Health Centre and the man who started it all, Dr. Mark Sloan, will be celebrating 30 years of service in this community! After three clinic locations, dozens of employees, practitioners of many kinds, thousands of patients and working alongside his wife Sherry the whole time. We invite you to join us in celebrating this incredible achievement on July 7th at 6pm. Whether you have been a long time patient, an old employee, or a new face, anyone who has felt the impact of the work that Dr. Sloan has had in his many years of service is most welcome! Food and Drinks will be provided! Come on out to shake the hands that have been keeping our town up and running for 30 years!

P.S. Dr Sloan is not fully aware of the event and does not have Facebook so please don’t mention it to him!

We are excited to let you all know that we have a new Master of Counselling student from the University of Lethbridge starting at Edson Family Chiropractic and Natural Health Centre! Ree Neale will be under the supervision of our Registered Psychologist, Ellen Cordell and offering sessions at the affordable rate of $50/hour. Exciting News! Shockwave Therapy is Now Available at Edson Family Chiropractic and Natural Health Centre!

We’re thrilled to introduce Shockwave Therapy, a cutting-edge treatment that is changing the way we care for chronic pain and stubborn musculoskeletal conditions.

What is it? Shockwave Therapy uses high-energy sound waves delivered to injured tissues. These waves stimulate blood flow, break down scar tissue, and activate your body’s natural healing processes. Think of it as “waking up” areas that have struggled to heal on their own.

What it helps with:
* Plantar fasciitis (heel pain)
* Tennis or golfer’s elbow
* Achilles tendonitis
* Rotator cuff injuries and shoulder pain
* Chronic hip, knee, or back muscle pain
* Calcific tendonitis
* Other stubborn tendon and ligament issues

When it’s not recommended:
* Over open growth plates (in children/adolescents)
