🌟 Exciting News 🌟

I’m so thrilled to share that I’ll be a vendor at An Evening with Opie and Friends happening February 21, 2026 at the beautiful Conexus Arts Centre.

✨ Vendor tables open at 5 pm. Come early to explore, connect, and soak in the incredible energy of the evening.
🎤 The show begins at 7 pm. Get ready for a night filled with emotions, laughter, tears, heart feels, and memories to last a lifetime.

🎟️ Early bird tickets go on sale today December 1st for $44 each.
Starting January 2nd tickets will be $55 each.

Let's chat about validation...

I am going to say that lack of validation is one of the most harmful weapons in raising kids.

So many clients that I work with have shared that they wished that their parent(s) saw them, or took the time to listen or even just show up. I think we as parents can get tied up in the providing of the environment that we forget to provide for the emotional and mental aspects of our children.

All people want to know is that they are seen, that they are heard and that they matter, and this is one area that we have to show them and not just tell them.

One of the things that I have been asked so so many times is this. ⬇️

Is there much difference between inperson therapy and virtual therapy?

Here is my answer...
It really is personal preference and what I have found is that once safety and trust are established both are equally effective.💞

The success factor of any therapy is the strength of the connection between client and therapist. This is the main reason I always do a free consult prior to booking a first session. If you do not feel comfortable or safely held then what the heck are we doing. 🙃 This is first and foremost!!
