⚠️ Elevator Out of Service ⚠️

The elevator in the ELNOS Building is currently not working.

Patients with mobility concerns who have an appointment at the Elliot Lake Family Health Team are asked to use the Ontario Street entrance.

While we understand this may be inconvenient, please note that the elevator is owned and maintained by ELNOS. The Elliot Lake Family Health Team is not responsible for elevator maintenance and our staff do not receive updates regarding repair timelines.

We kindly ask that our reception staff be treated with patience and respect, as they are unable to assist with elevator repairs or service restoration.

Victoria Day Closure Reminder

The Elliot Lake Family Health Team will be closed on Monday, May 18th for Victoria Day and will return to regular hours on Tuesday, May 19th.

As the long weekend approaches, please remember to contact your pharmacy in advance to ensure prescriptions are filled ahead of time.

Ontario has updated its colorectal cancer screening guidelines. Regular screening is now recommended starting at age 45 for people at average risk, even if you have no symptoms.

Early detection can make a significant difference and screening saves lives. If you have questions about your risk factors or screening options, speak with your healthcare provider

Starting July 1, Ontario is lowering the eligibility age to allow people to access publicly funded colorectal cancer screening to help more people receive life-saving screening services sooner.

This historic expansion will give more than one million additional people the option to connect to life-saving screening services to detect and treat colorectal cancer sooner.
