✨ PERFECTLY IMPERFECT — A Wellness Day for Women in Their 20s & 30s ✨

Your 20s and 30s are full of possibility and some times with a lot to navigate.

Who am I becoming? Why am I feeling anxious? How do I trust myself more? Where do I need better boundaries? Am I the only one who feels this way?

Perfectly Imperfect was created for YOU. 🤍

A day to step away from the pressure to have it all figured out and build a stronger foundation for your wellness and the journey ahead.

Together, we’ll explore:
✨ Self-awareness & understanding yourself
✨ Building self-confidence & self-worth
✨ Understanding and managing anxiety
✨ Creating healthy boundaries
✨ Navigating comparison and the pressures around us
✨ The power of connection & community

You’ll hear real and vulnerable stories from other women and discover something we don’t talk about enough:

We are far more alike than we think and you are not alone in the things you feel, question or struggle with.

You’ll walk away with practical tools you can use in everyday life, new perspectives, meaningful connections, a personal reflection workbook to continue your journey, and a new community of women who understand.

Come exactly as you are. No perfection required.

💫 NEW this Fall: Virtual ARFID Support Group 💫

We're running an ARFID Support Group pilot program this Fall!

Our virtual ARFID Support Group will include a blend of facilitator-led topics and open peer discussion. We'll do some brainstorming on how to be more supported, and there will be space to just talk and be heard by others who understand. This group is built on the foundation that YOU are not the problem.

❌No single definition of "recovery" or healing will be used in this group.
❌Ideas about "normal eating" will not be upheld.

Topics may include the following, but we'll be taking ideas and feedback as we go from participants in the group:
✨How to make accommodations for sensory sensitivities
✨How to navigate fear of aversive consequences (choking, vomiting, allergic reactions)
✨Low appetite & meeting nutritional needs
✨Anxiety around food, mealtimes, and social eating
✨Navigating treatment, healthcare & self-advocacy
✨Talking with family/friends about ARFID
✨Building safe foods
✨ARFID's intersections with chronic illness, GI conditions, etc.

This is an open group, attend one session or attend them all, whatever works for you.

More details:
👉Who: SK residents age 18+ experiencing ARFID, whether diagnosed or not
👉When: The last Thursday of the month from 12:00pm-1:30pm (Sept 24, Oct 29, Nov 26)
👉Where: The comfort of your own home or office (online)

Often a pause, a breath and slower movement can help reset an overactive nervous system. We move so fast these days it sends our brain the message that there is an emergency!

We are excited to host two upcoming Breastfeeding Cafés, in partnership with the Saskatchewan Health Authority and Lactation Consultants!

We hope you can join us at one of our REYFRC locations for a morning of connection, support and community, in honour of National Breastfeeding Week.

Come enjoy light refreshments, connect with other breastfeeding families, share experiences, and chat with Lactation Consultants about any questions or curiosities you may have. Whether you are looking for information, wondering about something specific, or simply want to spend the morning in the company of other breastfeeding families - you are welcome!

A photographer will also be on site at each location to capture some of the meaningful moments and connections throughout the morning.

Plus, families attending will have the opportunity to enter to win:
• a Healthy Food Box, donated by REACH
• a $100 gift certificate for Sleepy Mama's Kitchen

Have a specific breastfeeding question or curiosity?
We invite you to share it in the comments, or send it to us by email, ahead of the event. Our Lactation Consultants will use your questions to help guide the information and resources available during the Cafés.

All breastfeeding/chestfeeding families are welcome!

As a clinician the newest issue I see is AI chatbots. Addiction(yes to chatbots), misinformation and for children information and content they are not ready for. There is an article I can’t link or it will be removed but search CTV “Letting your kids use AI chatbots? There are risks according to experts”.~
