For years, Émile followed the sport he loves from home. This summer, the 98-year-old from Lévis, Quebec, got to experience the excitement in person, travelling with his daughter to attend the US Open Men's Final in New York.

With surprise courtside seats and a front-row view of an unforgettable match, the trip exceeded every expectation.

Cruise Week took residents at Chartwell Wedgewood on a virtual trip to Sweden. After exploring Stockholm through a documentary, they hit the dance floor for an ABBA disco and line dancing party, complete with Swedish-inspired refreshments. Chartwell hosted a delightful Hawaiian day event featuring our own and Tina Rezvani's hula dancers and a Hawaiian-inspired buffet. Residents were adorned in Hawaiian clothing, creating a festive atmosphere. Laughter and smiles filled the air as everyone enjoyed the cultural performances and delicious food. It was a joyful day where the community came together to celebrate Hawaiian traditions and create lasting memories at Chartwell Vista

Drag Show Bingo: An Event to Remember! 🌈✨

Today at Chartwell Vista, we were thrilled to welcome the fabulous Anya Marx, an incredible drag performer and our special guest Bingo caller!

With plenty of laughs, chocolate bar bingo prizes, and a whole lot of Pride spirit, residents competed for 1 Line, Four Corners, X, and Around the World. The room was filled with smiles, cheers, and unforgettable fun, making it a truly memorable afternoon for everyone.

We spent the afternoon enjoying a delicious barbecue featuring salmon, chicken, baked potatoes, and zucchini, along with a fun mini b**r tasting.

With sunshine overhead, snacks and drinks in hand, and lively entertainment from Meridian Road, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, music, and great energy. It was a truly memorable day celebrating the wonderful fathers, father figures, and stepfathers in our community. 💙
