Congrats to me for 15 years!
I have many things to be thankful for with my career. I am grateful to all my past clients, for supporting me every time I had to rebuild my business from scratch (more than once); and to all my current clients especially for making the drive to my acreage studio time and time again. Without you, I would not be able to be as present for my kids or have the time to maintain the farm life our family has worked so hard to build.
I love so many aspects of what I do. The quiet treatments allow me the space to slow down, take a breath, and think. (If you have kids, you know what I mean.) Im sure my husband dreads my busy evenings when I come in and say, "Honey, Ive been thinking..." 😄 Oftentimes, this involves a new hare-brained idea which adds some type of workload to his never-ending list. He deserves so much credit because he rarely tells me no.
I also love the not-so-quiet treatments when a person needs a good vent session and a listening ear. I am so honored that my clients trust me to be a safe space to share their sensitive or difficult struggles of life. Sometimes the emotional aspects of massage therapy is just as important as the physical aspects.
It is my dream to still be doing what I do in 30 years, to be the old lady with long gray hair who has her massage practice out in the countryside. Hope to see you there! 💛
