To be recognized year after year means more to me than I can really put into words, especially this year.

But the awards have never been the reason behind RKD.

The real impact isn’t clout, recognition or material things. It’s people. It’s helping someone move with less pain, breathe a little deeper, finally relax, or simply feel cared for during an hour of their day.

That has always been my passion. That will always be my purpose.

I’m so proud to be an RMT in a community filled with so many incredibly talented and caring RMTs.

And somewhere along the way, RKD became bigger than just me. 🤍 I’m incredibly proud of Brooke, Jeremy + Kate and the little work family we’ve built. They each bring something different to RKD, but we share the most important thing: we genuinely care about the people who walk through our door.

This year has reminded me more than ever what matters. The people who show up. The people who believe in you. The people who help you keep going. And having a purpose that keeps bringing you back to yourself.

To every client who has trusted me and my team with their care, voted for us, referred someone they love, booked an appointment, shared our name or simply cheered us on — thank you.

Our RKD family is growing. 🤍

We are so excited to officially welcome Kate MacDonald, RMT Kate MacDonald, RMT to RKD Massage Therapy & Wellness.

From the moment Kate and I met, I knew she was going to fit right in. Within about five minutes I was basically thinking… oh great, there’s another me 🙋‍♀️😂 Same energy, same passion for what we do, and so many ideas about where wellness and massage can go. I knew she belonged at RKD.

Kate brings a warm, calming energy, a thoughtful approach to treatment, and a genuine passion for helping people feel their best.

She has a special interest in the connection between stress, the nervous system, fascia and movement, blending therapeutic care with a calm, restorative approach.

And this is just the beginning. 🤍 We’re so excited to watch Kate grow with us and eventually bring even more unique treatments and ideas to the RKD community.

Kate starts tomorrow, August 10, and her schedule is NOW OPEN.
