For years, I’ve worked with women who carry so much responsibility for everyone around them that they gradually lose touch with themselves.

Over time, the tension becomes so familiar that it simply feels normal. The shoulders stay tight. Sleep becomes lighter. The jaw clenches without noticing. The body remains braced long after the stressful season has passed.

One of the things I hear most often is, “I don’t feel at home in my body anymore.”

This summer, I’m creating something a little different.

For the first time, I’ll be offering a small-group Forest Somatics experience in a wellness tent nestled within the forest on my property.

We’ll begin with a gentle walk through the fields before settling into a quiet natural setting where we’ll explore gentle somatic movement, breath, rest, and the kind of slowing down that is often missing from daily life.

My intention isn’t to create another fitness class or another thing to accomplish. It’s to create a space where women can reconnect with themselves, soften long-held patterns of tension, and experience what it feels like to be supported by both nature and community.

The series will run Tuesday mornings from June 30 through August 4, from 10:00–11:30 a.m., with space for just 6–8 women.

If this speaks to something you’ve been longing for, comment FOREST or send me a message and I’ll happily send you the details.

Sometimes the best thing we can do for our nervous system is slow down.

A beautiful friend introduced me to Greenwood Baths in Durham, and what a gift it was to discover this peaceful space.

Moving between the hot tub, cold plunge, sauna, and beautiful outdoor surroundings offered the perfect opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and simply be.

If you’re looking for a local wellness experience, this little spot is worth checking out. 🌿

Have you ever tried hot/cold therapy?

Something has been shifting quietly in my work over the past few months, and I’ve now started to share what that looks like.

This summer, I’m beginning a new seasonal offering in a wellness tent in the forest here at Willow Creek — small group somatic movement experiences designed to support nervous system regulation, rest, and reconnection.

It’s a different rhythm than my usual weekly classes, and a more intentional container than I’ve offered before.

If you’d like to read the full update and what’s unfolding next, I’ve shared a short newsletter below.

Thank you for being here as this next chapter takes shape 🌿

After my last newsletter, I realized there was more unfolding underneath the surface than I had fully acknowledged at the time. What began as a back flare-up eventually led to a hospital visit, breathing complications, and a level of depletion that I could no longer override or push through.

Something has been shifting quietly in my world over the past little while.

And I’ve finally started to put words to it.

This summer looks different.

Smaller groups. More intentional spaces. And something new taking shape in the forest here at Willow Creek.

If you want the full update on what’s unfolding (and what’s coming next), I shared it in my latest newsletter.

You can read it through the link in my bio under ‘June News’.

I’ll share more soon as this continues to grow. 🌱

I shared a very personal newsletter this week about health, burnout, listening to the body, and some meaningful shifts that have been unfolding behind the scenes in both my life and my work.

There’s also a little glimpse into some new directions quietly taking root for the months ahead.

For anyone who would like to read it, the link is in my bio. ❤️

I shared a very personal newsletter this week about health, burnout, listening to the body, and some meaningful shifts that have been unfolding behind the scenes in both my life and my work.

There’s also a little glimpse into some new directions quietly taking root for the months ahead.

For anyone who isn’t on my newsletter list but would like to read it, I’m sharing the link below. ❤️

Somewhere between teaching classes, supporting clients, managing the behind-the-scenes of business, and trying to figure out what’s next, my body decided it had something important to say. What started as a back flare-up eventually led to a hospital visit, breathing struggles, asthma complications...

Happy Mums Day to yourself—a time to honor your strength, dedication, and nurturing heart.

Celebrate your journey by affirming: I am enough, just as I am. My self-care is a necessity, not a luxury and I deserve the same love I give to others.

A gentle start to your week 🌿

I’m returning to teaching Gentle Yoga at Lemonade Collective this Monday at 9:00 AM… and I would love to see this class come together.

If your body has been asking for slower movement, less pushing, and more ease — this space is for you.

✨ Gentle, supportive movement
✨ No experience needed
✨ Move at your own pace

You’re welcome to join for the full 6-week series or drop in and try a class first.

Sometimes the smallest groups end up being the most supportive and connected — and right now, there are just a couple of spots filled.

We begin Monday, April 27 🌿

Feel free to reach out with any questions, or register directly through
