For years, I’ve worked with women who carry so much responsibility for everyone around them that they gradually lose touch with themselves.
Over time, the tension becomes so familiar that it simply feels normal. The shoulders stay tight. Sleep becomes lighter. The jaw clenches without noticing. The body remains braced long after the stressful season has passed.
One of the things I hear most often is, “I don’t feel at home in my body anymore.”
This summer, I’m creating something a little different.
For the first time, I’ll be offering a small-group Forest Somatics experience in a wellness tent nestled within the forest on my property.
We’ll begin with a gentle walk through the fields before settling into a quiet natural setting where we’ll explore gentle somatic movement, breath, rest, and the kind of slowing down that is often missing from daily life.
My intention isn’t to create another fitness class or another thing to accomplish. It’s to create a space where women can reconnect with themselves, soften long-held patterns of tension, and experience what it feels like to be supported by both nature and community.
The series will run Tuesday mornings from June 30 through August 4, from 10:00–11:30 a.m., with space for just 6–8 women.
If this speaks to something you’ve been longing for, comment FOREST or send me a message and I’ll happily send you the details.
