Built on the Forehand.
Horses are built with more weight shifted toward the front end, meaning neck, shoulders, and front limbs are doing more …before we even add a rider
Over time, that adds up, and we start to see:
- changes in movement
- compensation patterns
- tension and guarding
And eventually, it becomes their “normal”
When we can reduce some of that stored tension in the front end, we can see better movement, less strain and a body that can function more efficiently as a whole.
The video shows a small change in one area.. that can impact the entire system.
This is why I never just look at one area, I look at the whole horse.
If your horse feels heavy, stiff, or just off, this could be part of what is going on.
