✨As the sun sets on this milestone day, we want to take a moment to breathe and celebrate with you. Today was a major transition—whether you waved goodbye to your little one at their very first day of preschool, or sent your older children back for another year of big adventures.First days take a lot of heart, energy, and maybe even a few quiet tears after drop-off. Now that the backpacks are unpacked and the house is finally quiet, we just want to send a little love your way.

Whether today was a roaring success, an emotional rollercoaster, or somewhere in between, please know that you did a wonderful job.

Please let your littles know Miss Wendy was thinking about them and cheering you all on this morning!❤️

Come join us at Tshikeksa': EarlyON for a month of cultural teachings, fall park meetups, delicious traditional foods, and fun family outings!

🦋✨ What a wonderful day at the Niagara Butterfly Conservatory!

Our families came together for a day of exploring, discovering, and making memories. The children were full of curiosity as they watched the butterflies, noticed the colours and plants around them, and shared their discoveries with us.

These are the moments we love about being together as a community; children learning alongside their families, caregivers sharing in their excitement, and everyone having the opportunity to experience something new together.

Creating opportunities for our families to come together, strengthen relationships, share experiences, and feel connected to our community is at the heart of what we do.

A beautiful day in Niagara with some pretty special people. 🦋❤️

On Monday, Tshikeksa': EarlyON had a special visit from Kristi Talbot, who joined some of our families to share her beautiful book Mohawk Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. ✨

Kristi created the book alongside her sister, Shawnee Kish, bringing a familiar children’s song together with Mohawk language and culture.

Each family received their own copy of the book to take home, and Kristi even took the time to sign some of them. ❤️📖

It was a beautiful morning of gathering, storytelling, language and connection. These are the kinds of experiences we love being able to share with our children and families—keeping Indigenous stories, voices and language present in our EarlyON space and in our families’ homes.
