Your body is the most important tool you bring to work every day.

But if you're constantly dealing with a sore back, aching shoulders, stiff hips or cranky knees... work starts taking more from you than it should.

You don't need MORE work. You need the RIGHT work.

You need to build a body that's strong enough and capable enough to handle what you ask of it.

The goal isn't just making it through the workday. It's to still have something left when the workday is over.

If you're ready to build a body that can keep up with your work and your life, comment "BUILD" and let's get started.

Sweat doesn't equal progress.

Why? Because training for the "burn" doesn't build relative strength.

👉 Seated machines stabilize the load for you.
👉 Random circuit training creates fatigue without progressive overload.
👉 Bodybuilding splits often prioritize isolated volume over multi-joint control.

These things aren't "wrong," but when your goal is to feel strong and capable as you age in the things you ACTUALLY do in life... you need to think about your training differently.

Athletic movement requires:
💪 Controlling your bodyweight through its full ranges of motion.
💪 Integrating core rigidity with upper- and lower-body force transfer.
💪 High power-to-mass efficiency.

If your training doesn't allow you to master basic relative strength benchmarks, it’s not a work ethic issue. It’s a programming issue.

Stop confusing exhaustion with athletic capacity. Fix the programming.

DM me "ATHLETIC" and let's find the blind spots in your current programming.

You hit the gym consistently. You play rec sports on the weekend. You put the work in.

So why do you feel stuck on a physical plateau while your joints slowly take a beating?

It usually comes down to 3 things... and often more than one of them:

👉 Routine hopping: You follow random workout videos you found on Instagram instead of tracking measurable progressive overload over the course of weeks.

🦵 Zero unilateral strength: Hiding weak hips and unstable ankles behind bilateral machines, where one leg can take over for the other.

💪 Ignoring relative strength: Moving weight on a machine is fine, but you're over 30, and there's immense value in bodyweight control and relative strength as you age.

When you fix those 3 gaps, your training stops feeling like maintenance and starts producing noticeable results.

Ready to eliminate these blind spots and stop spinning your wheels? I’m opening up a few spots for 1-on-1 coaching as we head into the Fall and Winter training block.

If you want a clear, no-guesswork roadmap tailored to your schedule, send me a DM with "Athletic," and I’ll send you the details.

When I first started doing bodyweight exercise, some of the movements here, like skin the cat or perfect pike push-ups, felt like they would be impossible feats, let alone the other skills I've unlocked along the way.

This has been the most fun journey of my life, and I'm so glad I get to share it with you.

Everything in today's workout can be scaled to ANY fitness level. That's the beauty of calisthenics, it truly is for everyone. You just need to know where to start.

Follow me here and learn where to start. See you on the next one.

Do this routine every day and your hips and back will thank you.

I don't run on the hamster wheel every day, but I do this quick routine every day. 1 to 2 sets of each exercise, and it takes 15 minutes, tops.

Try doing this every day for a week and let me know how you make out!

You don't have "tight" calves... they're just weak.

Especially your soleus.

The soleus is the deeper calf muscle that does a huge amount of work every time your foot hits the ground. Walking, running, jumping, hiking... It’s constantly absorbing 6x to 8x your body weight with every impact.

It plays a major role in ankle stability, force absorption, propulsion, and controlling your body over your foot.

And because it only crosses the ankle, you have to target it with a bent-knee calf raise.

If you're constantly stretching your calves because they feel tight, it may be worth asking:

Can they actually handle the demands you're putting on them?

Try these single-leg bent-knee calf raises. Control the lowering, get a full range of motion, and don't rush the reps.

Sometimes the answer to “I need to stretch this” is actually:

“I need to make this stronger.”

If you want help figuring out what the answer is for you, subscribe to the channel and keep learning about the small, simple things that make a big difference.
