Sometimes wellness looks like belonging.

As we get older, life can become quieter.

Friends move away or pass on.
Driving may no longer be an option.
Family gets busy.
The things that once filled the day can slowly become harder to do.

And what many people don’t realize is how that can make a person feel.

It can feel like sitting in the same chair for most of the day.

Like having something to say, but nobody around to say it to.

It can feel like losing the confidence to go somewhere because you’re worried about falling.

It can feel like missing the person you used to be.

It can feel like missing your best friend and life partner and rehearsing all the memories you once shared together.

It can feel like your whole world is getting smaller without anyone really noticing.

That’s why companionship matters.

Sometimes having someone there means having someone to talk to over coffee.

Sitting outside for a little fresh air and sunshine on our face.

Sometimes it means going through old photographs, watching a favourite show, helping prepare a meal, baking a family familiar recipe, going for a short stroll, running an errand, or simply having another person in the room.

Presence.

It may seem small to us.

Like ‘companionship’ is a wasted task or paid service.

But to someone who spends much of their day alone, it can change the entire feeling of their day.

It also can help tremendously with someone experiencing memory loss.

We were designed by The Lord to co-exist.

At Wings of Care, we believe good care meets every need.

Everyone deserves to feel like their life still has moments worth looking forward to. ❤️ You deserve to feel safe, heard, respected, useful, full of purpose, life, and connected.

🌿 This Wellness Wednesday, check in on an older person in your life. 🫂

A phone call.
A coffee.
A hug & a visit.

You may never know how much that little moment meant to them.

Need a companion?

Our incredible caregivers are always here to help make sure you or a loved one’s day will become a little brighter. 🫶🏼💖

When Mom Says, ‘I’m Fine’.. But You Know She Isn’t ♥️

Subtle signs families often notice:

• Unopened mail
• Expired food
• Missed medications or doubled-up doses
• House becoming less tidy
• Falls or near-falls
• Difficulty bathing
• Wearing the same outfit for multiple days or weeks at a time
• Forgetting appointments
• Isolation
• Not eating properly

The truth is.. Support doesn’t automatically mean someone has to leave their home.

And needing help doesn’t mean giving up independence.

Many times, the right support is what allows someone to safely remain at home. 🏡

But it is important that we catch it early.

At Wings of Care, we’re here to support seniors and the families who love them, with companionship, personal care, respite, memory guidance, mobility assistance, overnight care, and much much more.

Your loved one and their situation is unique.
And your care should be too.

Give us a call today, tell us what’s been going on, and let’s work together to find the best way to support your loved one. ❤️

15 Foods Canadians Eat That Are Banned or Restricted Elsewhere 🚫 🙅🏽‍♀️ 🤢 ⬇️

— All Permitted by Health Canada and the CFIA btw 😘 👋

👉🏼 1. Skittles and Nerds
Some versions contain titanium dioxide, a whitening/color-enhancing additive. The EU no longer permits titanium dioxide as a food additive because regulators could not rule out potential genotoxicity. It is toxic and can directly change human genetic material, chromosomes, and DNA.

👉🏼 2. Ractopamine-treated pork
Ractopamine is a growth-promoting drug used in some livestock production to increase lean muscle. Countries including China, Russia, and the EU prohibit or restrict its use because of concerns about residues and differences in food-safety standards. Ractopamine has been linked to irregular heartbeat, heart palpitations, cardiovascular strain, elevated blood pressure, tremors, lameness, musculoskeletal damage, and increased stress in both livestock and the humans that consume them and even mortality.

👉🏼 3. Breakfast cereals
Some cereals can contain BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene), a preservative that helps prevent fats from going rancid. Its use is more restricted in some countries because of differing assessments of long-term exposure and safety. It can cause liver, kidney, and lung damage, hormone changes, and potential tumor promotion.

👉🏼 4. Commercial bread and dough
Some commercial baked goods can contain azodicarbonamide, a dough bleacher that makes bread production faster, brighter, and more springy. It is not permitted as a food additive in the EU, Australia and some other jurisdictions due to its cancer risks.

👉🏼 5. Chlorine-washed chicken
Chlorine and other antimicrobial treatments can be used to reduce bacteria on poultry during processing. The EU prohibits poultry treated with certain chemical decontamination processes, preferring stricter controls throughout production rather than relying on a final chemical wash.

👉🏼 6. Hormone-treated beef
Some Canadian beef can come from cattle treated with growth-promoting hormones to improve growth and feed efficiency. The EU prohibits imports of meat produced using hormonal growth promoters because of its precautionary approach to potential health effects. It is considered a carcinogen and can initiate the growth of tumours.

👉🏼 7. Yellow-dyed foods
Synthetic colours such as Yellow No. 5 (tartrazine) and Yellow No. 6 are used to give candies, cereals, drinks and other foods their bright yellow or orange colour. Their use is permitted in Canada but is restricted or subject to additional requirements in some countries. It can allergic sensitivity and hyperactivity disorders in children.

👉🏼 8. Red-dyed candies and drinks
Red No. 40 (Allura Red) is a synthetic food colouring commonly used in candy, beverages and desserts. It is approved in Canada and the U.S., but some countries impose tighter restrictions on certain artificial colours. It causes behavioural changes in children, allergic reactions, gut and cancer risks.

👉🏼 9. Citrus sodas
Some citrus-flavoured drinks have historically used brominated vegetable oil (BVO) to keep flavouring ingredients evenly mixed. BVO has faced restrictions because of concerns surrounding prolonged, high-level exposure to bromine compounds. Brain and nervous system disorders, thyroid issues, autoimmune disorders and tissue diseases can be directly linked to BVO.

👉🏼 10. Potato products
Some processed potato foods can contain BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole), a preservative that prevents fats and oils from oxidizing. BHA is permitted under regulated conditions in Canada but has faced tighter restrictions in some countries because of toxicological concerns at high exposures.

👉🏼 11. Farmed Atlantic salmon
Farmed salmon may be given feed containing astaxanthin, a pigment that gives salmon its characteristic pink-orange colour. Synthetic astaxanthin itself isn't generally “banned”; the controversy comes from differences between countries in how additives used in aquaculture feed are regulated. Astaxanthin can cause stomach problems, mess with blood pressure, cause skin rashing, linked to skin disorders and breathing discomfort.

👉🏼 12. GM corn products
Genetically modified corn is altered using biotechnology to provide traits such as insect resistance or herbicide tolerance. GM foods are approved in Canada following safety assessments, while some countries have much stricter authorization, labelling or import requirements.

👉🏼 13. Energy drinks
Energy drinks can contain high amounts of caffeine and other stimulants, depending on the product. Some countries restrict their sale, caffeine levels, marketing or labeling because of concerns about excessive stimulant consumption, particularly among children and adolescents. These stimulants can cause severe headaches, nausea, tremors, dangerous heart-rhythm and heart palpitations, high blood pressure, sleeping disorders, and anxiety disorders.

👉🏼 14. Fruits and vegetables with certain pesticide residues
Farmers use pesticides to protect crops from insects, weeds and disease, but residues can remain on produce. Countries establish their own maximum residue limits, and some pesticides permitted in Canada are prohibited or more tightly restricted elsewhere because regulators assess their risks differently. Various cancers, brain and nerve damage, eczema and skin rashes, asthma and respiratory failure, birth defects, seizures, and Parkinson’s Disease, have been directly linked to pesticide residue.

👉🏼 15. Olestra-containing fat-free snacks
Olestra is a fat substitute designed to provide the taste and texture of fat without being absorbed by the body. It was restricted or banned for food use in several countries because it can cause gastrointestinal problems and can interfere with the absorption of some fat-soluble vitamins.

So now you know.. 😩🙅🏽‍♀️ 🤢 👎🏼

Helpful & Affordable Equipment Tips for Aging Gracefully at Home 🩵🏠

For seniors or loved ones beginning to struggle with mobility, balance, or even memory, a few simple tools can make all the difference and home life much safer while still maintaining comfort, dignity, and independence.

✔️ Bed or chair alarm – a soft, thin pressure pad placed on a bed, recliner, or wheelchair seat. It feels similar to a soaker/incontinence pad and is designed to be discreet and dignified, while still alerting a caregiver when someone gets up unexpectedly. These are great for our late-night “out of bed crawlers” or day time in their recliner who are a high fall-risk but may forget or don’t realize they need assistance

✔️ Call bell – gives your loved one an easy way to call for assistance instead of trying to get up alone. There are some great affordable At-Home Call Bell options sold online and found through Amazon

✔️ GPS monitor keychain – especially helpful for individuals who may become confused or wander. Many people instinctively grab their keys when attempting to leave the house, making a keychain tracker a practical and often discreet option.

✔️ GPS bracelet – worn on the wrist for individuals who may not reliably carry keys. It can provide an additional layer of safety while still being comfortable and unobtrusive.

✔️ Apple AirTag placed inside a shoe insole/sole – a hidden option that can help locate someone if they leave home unexpectedly. Amazon carries hidden AirTag insoles for both children and adult shoe sizes alike

✔️ Posey support products – can provide added positioning and safety support when appropriate for the individual’s needs. This is especially helpful for people who can no longer weight-bear themselves without some assistance and keep trying to get up and out of their chair due to confusion.

✔️ Hip protectors – help cushion the hips and may reduce the risk of serious injury from falls.

✔️ Bedside commode – reduces the need to walk to the bathroom at night, helping prevent falls and conserving energy.

💡 The goal isn’t to take away independence, it’s to support it safely. ☺️🫶🏼

Small changes can often:

🩵 Reduce fall risks
🩵 Ease caregiver stress
🩵 Improve confidence and comfort
🩵 Help someone remain in the home they love for as long as possible

The North has taught me a lot.

How to love harder.

How to be stronger and get tougher.

How to show up for yourself.

How to show up and be reliable for others.

How to bundle up, be proactive, and pack your car for all sorts of cray possible events, seasons, and situations. lol 😩😭😭🤣

How to appreciate the beautiful spring and summer months as they arrive.

How to endure and appreciate the long, cold 🥶 windy winters as they come (and learn that they go on their own timing. Sometimes tricking you 5-7 times before the BIG thaw) 😉 and sometimes how to find the strength to get through them.

How to lean on your neighbours and show up for each other when someone needs a helping hand.

How to ask for help. (Gosh ngl I still am learning that one)

How to appreciate the leaves before they turn into sticks again… lol. 🍂

But most importantly, the North has taught me how to enjoy the little things — the moments, the people, make the best out of any situation, and enjoy all the blessings that come our way up here.

It also has allowed me a space to grow, share my voice, and be who I am.

To be accepted and valued for my views.

That I’m okay. I belong. And no matter what, we got you type of mentality.

That’s a community.

The North is beautiful.

It is my home.

And it is filled with such great people and memories.

I came here when I was 3, and this place became a part of who I am.

It’s important to me that I protect it at all costs.

Protect one another at all costs.

Because that’s what the North and its people, and its elders, has taught me, and is all about. ❤️

PS. My sister Hunter (2nd photo) is just about an RN, and I couldn’t be more proud and excited for her.

To have two of us in the medical community, in our family, and serving the North is honestly pretty incredible.

If you asked Hunter about 5 years ago where she would end up after high school, she would have said Vancouver (our family is OG from there;) or Toronto! Sky scrapers, endless life with stories of their own no matter the time of day, the music/vibe, the food, and the hustle and bustle of the city life I think intrigued her.)

But now if you ask her, she would say “Here.
This is my home.”

She would also say it “smells fresh and sweet.” 😘 which honestly so is she.

— But yes it does. 👃 🏔️ lol

I think our own experiences and realities have shaped the paths we’ve each chosen. We’ve seen the needs, we’ve lived through the challenges, and I’m so happy to watch her continue to grow, take off, change her thoughts and opinions again and again, and help people in her own way.

She also has found that maternity is where she feels most comfortable and needed.
And who can argue with helping teenie wee babies and new growing families !? 😍🥰🤗👶🏼

The North needs people who are open minded and care. It needs people who understand all walks of life. And I’m so proud that she gets to be a part of that.

— God Bless Each of You. And God Bless the great North and All The Hearts that make up our Strong Nation of Canada! ❤️ 🇨🇦 💪🏼

Heart disease is not always just “bad luck,” “genetics,” or “just aging.”One of the biggest things I’ve learned caring f...
08/11/2026

Heart disease is not always just “bad luck,” “genetics,” or “just aging.”

One of the biggest things I’ve learned caring for people over the years is that the heart is not a machine that randomly fails one day.

Every heart is important and every heartbeat is delivering oxygen and nourishment to your organs, muscles, brain, and tissues.

So when we constantly feed the body processed foods, excess sugar, damaged oils, chronic stress, inactivity, lies, and endless medications without addressing the deeper and root cause, the circulatory system has to work much much harder than it was designed for.

A simple way to picture it:

* The heart is the pump
* The blood vessels are the plumbing
* The blood is the delivery system
* What we eat, drink, breathe, absorb, and think about every day affects that delivery system

When the body is overloaded for years, blood vessels can become irritated and inflamed.

And over time, the body may begin to show these common warning signs: ⚠️ ‼️

* High blood pressure
* Swelling in the feet and legs
* Fatigue
* Shortness of breath
* Poor circulation
* Cold hands and feet
* Chest discomfort and shorteness of breathe
* Fluid retention
* Kidney strain

Swelling and heart problems are usually connected to the entire circulatory system, not just the heart itself.

If the heart is struggling to pump efficiently, or if the kidneys cannot properly balance fluids, the body may begin holding onto water.

And let me be clear here, this is not just any water, or extra water, it is toxic-waste water that the body is struggling to expel.

Hence the inflammation and swelling response.

This kind of fluid often settles in the ankles, legs, hands, and sometimes the lungs.

Gurgling and crackling cough anyone?

Now ask yourself or your loved ones this:

* Are we drinking enough clean water?
* Are we eating whole foods that nourish the blood and vessels, or foods that easy to grab, cheap to buy, and create more inflammation on ourselves?
* Are we sincerely moving enough for the calf muscles to help pump blood back to the heart? Could we do better in this area?
* Are we sleeping enough for the body to repair itself?
* Are we carrying constant stress, fear, anger, childhood traumas, or anxiety, which keeps stress hormones elevated and places additional strain on the heart?
* Are we watching too much “news” doom scrolling, when we could be shutting these devices off, and spending more time with friends and family that matter most to us. Are we distracting ourselves, worrying ourselves, more than we think or maybe even realize?

Your heart condition is not always a life sentence.

In fact, many lab coats 🥼 don’t want you to believe that there is hope, healing, and recovery available to you.

After all, how would they keep a job or make money? 🤔

Let me tell you something honestly and truly after working in the industry for many years.

Environment, nutrition, movement, stress, sleep, and spiritual health matter more than most people realize.

And if you must watch something, I urge you to watch Blue Zones on Netflix (if you haven’t already;). There are many helpful videos and docs out there to watch on this topic, but this will get you started and the ball rolling on the right path to healing.

It’s is multiple factors simultaneously working together. Not a simple quick fix solution or pill.

God designed our bodies with incredible wisdom:

* Real food to nourish us
* Movement to support circulation
* Rest to restore the heart and nervous system
* Sunlight to support many essential functions
* Clean water to help every cell operate properly
* Peace, purpose, and connection with Him to calm the body, mind, and spirit

Yet modern culture often encourages the opposite.

And here is something that has been used by many cultures for generations:

Ancient, simple herbal support’s for the heart & circulation is often the best medicine you can give yourself to help heal the heart.

These are not satanic magic fixes (remember: the word pharmakia is where we get pharmaceuticals from which literally means witchcraft and sorcery 🧉🧪🧙🏻‍♀️ 🥼 🔮🪄 something our God explicitly says to stay away far and clear from) Leviticus 19:31, Galatians 5:19–21, Isaiah 8:19, James 1:5 (and many more!!!!)

Real healing is often slower than the world wants us to believe.

God did not design our bodies or even our spiritual lives (if you’ve noticed) to be transformed overnight by a quick “zap” 🪄 or overnight miracle every time. More often, more times than not in my experience and healing journey as a Christian, God’s healing is a process of restoration, nourishment, obedience, patience, and trusting Him and His timing, day by day.

Key 🔑 words there. Read them again. ⬆️

Wondering what herbs to eat and utilize then?

Many! And study study study my friends!

But here are some main ones to definitely consider:

🌿 Hawthorn berry tea – traditionally used to support healthy circulation and heart function
🌿 Garlic – helps support healthy blood vessel function and circulation
🌿 Ginger tea – warming, supports circulation and digestion
🌿 Turmeric with black pepper – helps support a healthy inflammatory response
🌿 Beetroot – naturally supports nitric oxide production, which helps blood vessels relax
🌿 Cinnamon – mentioned in scripture as a precious spice, as it helps support healthy blood sugar, blood vessel, and spiritual balance naturally
🌿 Cassia — (think of it as a Chinese cinnamon) also mentioned in scripture and ancient history and texts across cultures alike as a precious spice, containing natural plant compounds, including polyphenols and cinnamaldehyde. These have been studied and proven for its health benefits to help with blood sugar balance, help the body oxidation stress and inflammatory responses, healthy blood vessel function, and providing healthy cholesterol levels.
🌿 Frankincense – has a very long history in Scripture and traditional wellness practices. It cleaneses, purifies, anoints, and helps supports a healthy inflammatory response as well
🌿 Myrrh – also has deep biblical significance and has traditionally been used in herbal preparations and skin care for its soothing and cleansing properties.
🌿 Dandelion root or dandelion leaf tea – has been used for many many generations to support digestion, liver function, and healthy fluid balance. God also provides us with these beauties each spring as a reminder! 🌼 It is helpful for water retention because it can have a gentle but beneficial diuretic effect.
🌿 Magnesium-rich foods such as pumpkin seeds, leafy greens, avocado, lentils, walnuts, and almonds support muscle and nerve function, including the very important heart muscle! Magnesium supplements also are available and help, but fresh is always best for our bodies to utilize and breakdown and properly use them. You need the fibre in most foods in order for your body to absorb and properly use them to see a healthy and notable difference.
🚶‍♂️ Daily walking – even 20–30 minutes after meals can improve circulation more than many people realize
👃 🙏 Deep breathing and prayer – slowing our breathing down helps calm our nervous system, quiet the mind, and reduce stress on the body / heart from constant fight or fight mode. For generations, many many cultures, and for thousands of years, have combined prayer, stillness, deep breathing, meditation, and herbal teas as daily practices to bring peace, balance, restoration, and connection back with God. Taking time to slow down and be present sounds simple and almost phoney-baloney,
but it is a very effective way we can care for the body He entrusted to us. God also mentions mediation and the important of quiet and still time with him, in his scripture and Holy word as well.

A simple daily routine could look like this:

☀️ Morning: warm water steeped with dandelion leaves, a short walk outside, and a few minutes for devotion and a simple prayer of gratitude (what are you thankful for?)
🍽️ With meals: add garlic, ginger, turmeric, leafy greens, and healthy proteins (nuts, seeds, and lentils)
🫖 Afternoon or evening: hawthorn or ginger tea, gentle stretching, and time away from screens (read scripture before bed with another prayer of gratitude and encouragement over your body)

Whatever your routine looks like, work in what works for you, and don’t over complicate it.

Just small easy and sustainable habits that support the body day after day. Don’t wait for a crisis to begin, start caring for the heart and soul now.

We want to encourage wisdom, prevention, and stewardship over your life and over your own body.

You CAN do this.

There IS hope and healing!

You do not need someone else 🥼 telling you what to do, when the ultimate authority, God, the creator of your body, the ultimate One who knows best for it, has made it very simple.

And real heart care and healing means helping people understand that daily choices do matter.

The enemy wants you to believe that sickness is simply your destiny and that there is no cure, but this type of stinking-thinking and constant state of sickness has no true role in caring for the body God entrusted to you.

The Holy Scripture 📖 ✝️ reminds us that our bodies matter to Him. We are called to pursue truth, wisdom, discernment, and healthier ways of living, while extending compassion to those who are suffering.

Sometimes the truth is not easy to hear, but often it is much simpler than what we were taught by mainstream.

If you need to be marketed for health, reminded through infomercials with constant “healthcare” (deathcare) ads zooming through the side effects in order for you to buy their product, it likely isn’t meant for good, but for satans minions to make more money.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” — 3 John 1:2

We will continue to shed light on heart health, pursue God’s truth over fear, and care for His children in body, mind, and spirit, the way Christ intended. 🕊️💙

So if you come out of a Dr’s AKA lab coats 🥼 office —Sorry but in scripture physicians heal, they do not sicken or harm their patients. (It is also is not a coincidence that chemists and mainstream “Drs” share the same coat, they are treating your body like a beaker to be played with). —But if you come out of that office more scared or in a doomed like state then when you came in with, remember this: God did not give us a spirit of fear but a spirit of conviction and truth.

Fear is of Satan.

With Him that believes in Christ, there is no fear.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

He is a miracle working God.
There is nothing too hard, too difficult, too far
gone, or too impossible to fix and restore for him.

He is God.
The almighty creator and healer over you.

And you are THE MOST important design and creation he has made!

If death cannot over power him, why are you afraid?

“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20–22

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
Psalm 107:20

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” James 1:22

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword” Hebrews 4:12

08/07/2026

What if edema is more than “just swelling”? Or something that is “part of aging”.

Idk about you, but I get extremely tired of hearing “it’s just apart of aging” used as a quick label to send someone out of the doctor’s office sooner and still left with no real answers.

That’s not the cause.
And it’s not why.

Breaking down and becoming so frail where your bones and muscles become brittle like dust and your body swells up in the process is not normal.

Being in so much pain that you can’t move without constant agony is not normal. And it’s not what God intended over you.

It is a toxin overload.

Deep down there is something inside you that already knows this.

But we are living in a money making society where money is the game and your health is the pawn.

We are filled with over-marketing that is designed to consume.

Consume overly processed foods, consume chemically refined poisonous preservatives, consume excess sodium (that’s a stretch to even call it that. The salt normally given in hospitals, care facilities, and a lot of restaurants, are bleached and stripped of any healing properties or any true sodium or healthy healing minerals your body needs to thrive). Everything sprayed or fed with hidden chemicals🍸 💊 (thanks FDA) that burden and literally poison the liver and kidneys, non stop environmental toxins in our water, food, and air, chronic stress, and lifestyles and “news” (another propaganda marketing strategy to get you to buy more poison -you’ll also notice more meds being marketed in between breaks of the news channels as well more than anywhere else) that keep people sitting, idle, stagnant, and basically living in constant fear for hours every day.

This is not coincidence.

Our bodies were not created to thrive under these constant toxic or stress overloads.

When our bodies cannot keep up, it will begin to hold onto fluid. Unable to expel what was meant to be.

The feet, ankles, legs, and abdomen usually become the places where our body shows us these signs that something deeper is out of balance, telling us that something is not right inside.

This is not fear-mongering — this is not a normal part of the aging process — it is a call to pay attention to the warning ⚠️ ‼️ signals God gave us in our body.

Listen to them.

Many health struggles today are not just about one organ failing overnight. It is usually a combination of multiple organs struggling from the result of years of accumulation:

* Toxins from what we consume
* Overmedication without addressing any root causes
* Nutrient-deficient diets
* Lack of daily movement and exercise
* Chronic inflammation
* Stress that keeps the body in survival mode

Sorry but there isn’t a nice way of putting it and quite frankly, p***y footing and not telling patients the truth (thank you lab coats and indoctrination stations -cough cough- bought out colleges) is what got us into this mess to begin with.

We ain’t about that.

We believe in bringing light where there has been silence.

We don’t care about being liked.
We care about shining God’s truth.

We are HIS creation. Not a chemistry beaker 🧪 to be played around with.

And let’s not forget the common line from our white lab coats 🥼: “oh well you know.. every body is different so it’ll take some time to get the chemical balance just right. Lets try out this new medication (literally the same chemical make-up just labelled with a different name) and this dose instead”.

Yea .. okay Karen.

Ummm …. how about we not. How about we stop playing chemist with satans witchcraft (pharmakia, or, pharmectuicals, in the Greek literally means: witchcraft, poison ☠️, potions, magic, sorcery) and look at the problem that started this.

We are not called to blindly accept everything as “normal” or simply “aging.” As if the moment you hit a certain age (you’ll notice 50 seems to be the marker when they start pushing medications and telling people things will naturally break down 10–15 years later). Oh right, right… “You’re at risk for a heart attack, and if something happens down the line, well, that’s just aging.”

A load of 🐂💩 and nonsense. 🙂 You were duped and poisoned 🤢

We are called to seek wisdom, truth, discernment, and stewardship over the bodies God entrusted to us.

At Wings of Care, we care for many families and seniors, and we have seen many different cases over the years, and we know that real care, health, and healing, means looking beyond surface level symptoms and encouraging people to support the body fully.

So what can we do to help heal our Edema problems or perhaps other health problems we have at hand?

✨ Eat organic, anti-inflammatory whole foods
✨ Drink clean water and properly hydrate ourselves. —Edema and heart conditions thrive in dehydration. Dementia-causing, dehydration-causing, and mineral-stripping chlorinated or fluoridated water provided by the lovely city is not going to do the trick. —Use a proper filter instead, with specialized filters that remove chlorine and fluoride. Santevia and Berkey do a great job, and they even have tap and shower options so you can still use the tap water at hand, but safely and effectively. The amount you spend on medications will fund this for you. Preventative measures matter.
—Perspective, my dears.
You’re welcome.
✨ DAILYYYY movement and exercise (Daily. Did you get that? 😉) It doesn’t have to be a full workout session, but you gotta move those bodies! Walking, stretching, simple ways of staying active. Our bodies were designed to move. —Walk the dog, get the mail, walk around the block, fold the laundry, do some cooking, dance to your fav song, ect).
✨ Foot soaks: Nettle, Ginger Root, Sage, Rosemary, Sea Salt, or True Epson Salt foot baths all help expel overloaded toxins in the body, and relax those lower extremities to reduce swelling and pain
✨ lymphatic flow: Gentle massage techniques, dry brushing, and movement will help support the lymphatic system and provide circulation
✨ Avoid prolonged sitting or standing: Change positions regularly and move your legs legs throughout the day
✨ Rest, prayer, purpose, and peace. —Give yourself a time to rest. Pray. Find something that ignites you and gives you purpose. And be at peace with where you are at right now. This isn’t a sprint or a race. Body takes time to heal. Give yourself grace. Love this body of yours and what it’s done and is doing. But give it time and listen to it).
✨ Shut off the propaganda fear mongering devices (news, social media, ect).
✨ Read your Bible and spend time with God alone, daily. —Think and ponder on God’s Word and Truth
✨ Ask deeper questions about root causes
✨ Go holistic. —God created all that you need in this earth and it is not done in a lab. It’s found in nature. Yes. From Blood Pressure lowering meds to blood thinners to liver and kidney cleansers to pain meds, detoxification, God created natural healing remedies and alternatives. We survived for thousands of years before prescribed meds and we will long thrive after them.

The world may normalize sickness, boxed meals and poisoned easy-to-grab snacks, exhaustion, swelling, and dependence on endless medications and the system they created — but God’s truth calls us to pursue something different. To pursue life, health, wisdom, and healing with discernment.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” — Hosea 4:6

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit?” — 1 Corinthians 6:19

“Then God said, ‘Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.’” Genesis 1:29

“Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine.” Ezekiel 47:12

“The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” — Revelation 22:2

Again, we don’t care about being liked.
We don’t care about popular opinion.
We don’t care about the money making industry.

We are here to continue to shed light, truth, and protect God’s children through compassion, education, and faith-filled care.

God’s truth.
