Hello Fredericton friends and Community,

A beloved family in our community is facing an unimaginable journey. Nury Franco-Lopez recently lost her husband unexpectedly, and shortly afterward received a breast cancer diagnosis of her own. In a matter of weeks, life as she and her boys knew it was turned completely upside down.

When their story was shared, Fredericton showed up in an incredible way. The support through the GoFundMe campaign has been overwhelming, and we are so grateful for the generosity and compassion our community has shown.

But we wanted to keep that support going.

Naomi Young and I sat down together to brainstorm ways we could bring people together while continuing to support Nury and her family. We are so excited to share what we came up with!

We will be hosting a special day of community events at Evolution Fight & Fitness Club , with all proceeds and donations going directly to Nury and her boys.

We've created a variety of classes and activities for both kids and adults—a fun opportunity to get active, spend time together as a family, experience the amazing dojo and gym at Evolution Fight Club, meet new people, and support a family that truly needs our help.

It's a win-win for everyone.

There will also be treats available for purchase, special offerings from Uptown Chiropractic - Fredericton , beverages, and other fun ways to contribute throughout the day.

We can't wait to bring our community together for a day of movement, connection, and support. Thank you for helping us make a meaningful difference in the lives of this family.

When you see kids, you never know what you'll see or hear.

Especially when they are in a space where they feel comfortable to express themselves.

Have you ever looked at your child and saw something that just didn't look right?

A flared ear, a small orbit, a crooked smile, an bump here or flat spot there, an overlap of bones, a blocked duct......

These observations aren't typically pathological where we need to rush to the doctor, but they ARE signs that something isn't quite right. Likely, they are contributing to other things as well.

This is where a trained eye can help identify where the tension is getting stuck, and how to best relax the system to help create more ease.

It's the best thing to be able to help your family be their best selves!

Here is something cool!

On this very day, 18 years ago (18 YEARS AGO!!) we walked across the stage after 8 years of post secondary education.

We are here with one of our very first clinicians, Dr. Barrigar, who was an incredible teacher and adjuster!

We are so grateful for each step in our journey.

Starting out in a small room we shared with 2 RMTs at Goodlife, to opening our own small office that still exists today, to becoming associates, to opening what you all know to be Uptown Chiropractic.

Since then, we have had 10s of 1000s of extra training hours, mainly in pediatrics and prenatal care, as well as business training.

We have learned a TON in these 18 years and grateful for every win and challenge.

Thank you for being part of a journey whether it was for a short while, or from day one.

We love and appreciate you all!

Noisy, busy brains show up in many different ways.

Behaviour, emotional regulation, focus, sleep, digestion, immune function.... all function better when the brain can regulate itself.

Chiropractic adjustments are the best way to help retrain your busy brain to respond optimally.
