As a therapist in training, one of my areas of focus is sleep. While CBT-i (insomnia) is on my list of trainings to accomplish this year, I want to also highlight the benefits of reiki on sleep. I use self-Reiki nearly every night to settle my self into la-la land and, often, clients have messaged me the day after a reiki session to tell me what a wonderful sleep they had that night.
If you are struggling with your sleep, maybe give reiki a try!

As many of you are aware, I've been embarking on a transformative journey to become a social worker over the past two years. With graduation fast approaching, change is in the air.

As of the first of June, I will be saying good bye to the incredible Comfort Counselling team. This transition is filled with a mix of joy and nostalgia. It's here that I've re-discovered my passion for real-time human service while gaining invaluable experience and mentorship.

I'm forever grateful for the love and support that has empowered me to take this leap.

My intention is to integrate reiki with my soon-to-be social work practice in a new space. For now, I am taking a break to allow for celebration and integration.

Stay tuned for my new address. In the meantime, may you be happy, may you be healthy, may you have peace, and may you be loved.

Our Menopause Support Group is filling, and we’re now opening space for **two small groups (max 12 women each)** so we can keep it personal, supportive, and real.

This isn’t a lecture.
This isn’t surface-level advice.

While exploring ways to introduce Mindfulness to a client, I found this short animation, narrated by Sharon Salzberg . She describes the conflict that we often experience between fearful emotions and compassionate ones. Moral of the story, we need a balance and awareness of both.
