Mara was established in 1997 as a provincially registered and an incorporated professional association. It was formed and initially registered and incorporated in Nova Scotia and today Mara is also registered in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. It's founding members were experienced health care professionals of numerous health disciplines who were very well versed and highl

y trained in the art and science of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Today, members of MARA are highly trained and experienced Acupuncturists and Health Care Professionals from all over the Maritimes. As an Maritime Association we strive to meet and exceed professional standards, ensuring safe and highly effective treatment of our clients and support the continued education of our members.

✨ A little yin-yang shift to our conference flow!

In true TCM fashion, we’re embracing the art of balance and moving a little Qi around in our weekend schedule. 😊

Our Keynote Speaker, Lorne Brown, will now present at 3:15 PM on Saturday, helping us end the day with a powerful surge of inspiration and great energy!

Then, Rory Holwerda will help us start Sunday with fresh Qi and an uplifting kickoff to the day.
