We’re growing our team and looking for a compassionate, motivated Registered Social Worker / Counsellor who values collaboration, flexibility, and meaningful client relationships.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐨:
• Provide counselling, case planning, and therapeutic support
• Work alongside Mental Health Support Workers in a collaborative model
• Support clients in homes, community settings, and our Fredericton offices
• Help individuals, youth, and families build skills and improve well-being

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
• BSW: $35–$40/hour
• MSW: $50–$55/hour
• Health & dental options available

Our next intern feature is Indigo! We're delighted to have her on our team as a social work intern at our Fredericton and Oromocto locations 🌟

Indigo Poirier (she/her) is a q***r community organizer who originally hails from Bilijk First Nation. She is currently doing her BSW at St. Thomas University. Indigo's passion is in grassroots organizing and anti-oppressive, structural social work. She is interested in learning more about ACT, mindful self-compassion, and response-based analysis. In her spare time she likes to dabble in computer programming and game design, write electronic music, play video games, watch horror movies, and cuddle with her cat, Lazarus.

We're excited to introduce our next student intern! Meet Claire, a Master of Counselling student who has been with our Halifax team since October.

Claire (she/her) is a counselling intern with Haven for Hope, currently completing her therapy placement under the supervision of Donna Phillips. Guided by a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and neuro-affirming lens, Claire aims to offer a space where people feel brave and comfortable to be themselves. As a proud member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, she is also passionate about offering affirming, inclusive care to others in the community.

Claire practices within the modalities of Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside somatic and mindfulness-based approaches. As a student, she is eager to continue to learn and grow in her practice to meet the needs of her clients. Outside of the therapy space, Claire can be found cooking a new recipe, reading, or spending time with friends and family!

We are thrilled to introduce Bria, a Master's of Social Work intern who has been with our Halifax team since January!

Bria is an African Nova Scotian social worker, educator, and trauma-informed graduate student. Bria is currently in her last year of the Master of Social Work program at Dalhousie University, and has been a practicing social worker for 6 years. She uses approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Liberation-Psychology, and Strength-based practices to support meaningful, person centered healing. Bria loves working with diverse folks and having honest conversations about healing, whatever that looks like in their lives, while centering strengths, offering grace, and honouring what makes each person uniquely themselves. Her work is deeply informed by community engagement, advocacy, and a commitment to overall wellness and care.
