We wanted to share this for our clients whom have moved to a nursing home or are moving to a nursing home. Our rates will not change nor be increased at this time. The goal with Wholesome Home Care has always been and always will be to provide the best in home care for the most reasonable price. ❤️

Senior citizens are experiencing increased expenses in elder care facilities. A letter was issued without a formal announcement. A 5% increase is substantial for seniors living on a fixed income.

Wholesome Home Care is currently looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team.
Requirements:
• PSW Certificate
• Reliable vehicle
• Availability to work weekends and overnight shifts
• Valid CPR & First Aid certification
•Must be able to travel to outside Fredericton Area
Applications without a Personal Support Worker Certificate will not be considered.
All staff are hired on a part time basis with growth to move to a full time position. Must have open availability to work any shifts. Reliable Vehicle is needed to visit clients outside of city limits.

One of our favourite things to do is shine a light on the incredible members of our Wholesome family. These wonderful individuals inspire us every single day, and we believe it’s so important for our community to get to know the amazing people who make it so special. 💙

Meet Roberta and Phillip; two very special members of the Wholesome family, and boy do we love them. ❤️

Roberta was a teacher, an accomplished author of multiple children’s books, and also wrote a book honouring her father’s time in the U.S. military, inspired by the letters he lovingly wrote home to his wife. Together, Roberta and Phillip raised four amazing children who have gone on to accomplish incredible things.

Phillip was a Presbyterian pastor who travelled throughout his career sharing faith and kindness with others. Even today, you can still find him attending church and heading out to pick up their favourite lunch sandwiches. 🥪 He is also a talented writer himself, having published a book and continuing to write through his daily blog.

Their story is one of love, faith, family, and lifelong dedication to others and we are so grateful they are part of the Wholesome family. 💙

At Wholesome Home Care, we know that caregiving is about so much more than daily tasks, it’s about building relationships, sharing laughter, offering comfort through hardships, and becoming part of the lives and families of the people we care for. ❤️

This photo features the incredible Frank Atwin, a man whose story and legacy continue to inspire us. Frank has dedicated his life to teaching young minds the traditional Maliseet language, sharing culture, wisdom, and history with generations. Beyond being a respected teacher, he’s also known as an avid pool player with a wonderful sense of humor that brightens every room he’s in.

We are truly thankful for the opportunity to know Frank and to support him and his family. The connections we make through home care are deeply meaningful, and moments like these remind us why we love what we do every single day.
