The Galiano Health Care Society is seeking a part-time Better at Home Service Provider to support local seniors in remaining safe, independent, and connected in their own homes.

This rewarding role may include friendly visits, light housekeeping, and other non-medical supports, with opportunities to build lasting connections while making a real impact in the lives of older adults on Galiano Island.

Starting at 8-10 hours per week
Starting wage of $27.40/hour
Potential for additional hours as the program grows

Eye Clinic Coming to Galiano – Updated Date!

The mobile eye clinic with ClearLight Eyecare has been rescheduled to Friday, August 7. Eye exams are available for all ages, direct billing is offered, and a range of frames and lenses will be available.

Appointments are still available. If you previously booked an appointment, or if you would like to book one, please contact ClearLight Eyecare directly at 604-770-0475.

This is a great opportunity to access eye care services right here on Galiano!
