🎓 Convocation Week is underway at Queen’s University!

This week, our team is proud to be onsite providing first aid and medical coverage as graduates, families, faculty, and guests come together to celebrate this important milestone.

Convocation marks the culmination of years of dedication, hard work, and perseverance. We’re honoured to play a small role in helping ensure these ceremonies are safe and enjoyable for everyone attending.

To all of this year’s graduates: congratulations on your achievement and best wishes for the journey ahead.

Today, our team is in Prescott providing first aid coverage for the RCMP Musical Ride — a uniquely Canadian tradition that brings together horsemanship, heritage, and community.

We’re also recognizing two important occasions today: Father’s Day and National Indigenous Peoples Day. We extend our appreciation to all fathers, father figures, and caregivers who make a difference in the lives of those around them, and we join communities across Canada in celebrating the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

If you’re attending the Musical Ride today, be sure to stay hydrated, protect yourself from the sun, and don’t hesitate to stop by if you need assistance.

We hope everyone enjoys a safe and memorable day in Prescott!

This Paramedic Services Week, we want to recognize and thank the team at Frontenac Paramedics for the important work they do every day in our community.

Paramedics are there for people during some of their most difficult moments, providing skilled, compassionate, and often life-saving care across Frontenac County and the City of Kingston.

From all of us at Ontario Medical Response, thank you to Frontenac Paramedics and paramedics everywhere for your dedication, professionalism, and service.

Today is the first day of Paramedic Services Week when we honour and recognize the professionals who provide this vital public service, especially among our Frontenac Paramedics colleagues.

This year’s national theme – Improving Outcomes Together – highlights the many ways that paramedics work with colleagues in healthcare to give each patient the best possible chance for the best possible recovery.

Join us this week in celebrating paramedics everywhere.

Happy National Nursing Week to all the incredible nurses in our communities and beyond.

From hospitals and clinics, to long-term care, community care, and event medicine, nurses play a vital role in keeping people safe, supported, and cared for every single day. Their knowledge, compassion, adaptability, and teamwork make a difference in moments both big and small.

At Ontario Medical Response, we’re proud to work alongside nurses who bring their skills and dedication to the events and communities we serve. Thank you for everything you do — not just this week, but every day.

Pictured standing in front of the tent are two of our own nurses, Taylor (RN) & Jared (RPN).

We had the privilege of once again serving as the first aid provider for Science Rendezvous at Slush Puppie Place in downtown Kingston.

From hands-on experiments to interactive displays and live demonstrations, the event was packed with opportunities to spark curiosity and celebrate science in our community. We’re always proud to help keep these events safe and supported behind the scenes. 🔬🚑

On the move.

Our teams don’t just stay at the first aid post — they actively patrol and respond across the site to reach patients quickly when it matters most.

Because effective event medical coverage goes beyond the tent.

Make sure your event is covered beyond the tent. Visit www.ontariomedicalresponse.ca to learn more.
