2026 marks 10 years since our major restoration and move to 22 Guelph. A few ‘before’ and ‘afters’ 📸 to honour the anniversary.
The property is one of the original Georgetown homesteads built in the late 1800’s. Its original owner was Morris Kennedy, brother of Georgetown founder George Kennedy. The southeast corner of the foundation still bears the Kennedy name.
It took 1 1/2 years to fix her anatomy, renew her finishes and bring her construction up to commercial code. Being a century home it was built before central heating, cooling and electricity. Now her lights, thermostat and security system can be controlled with an iPhone from the other side of town. How times change!!
