⚽️ RED CARD! ⚽️

❌ “Using ChatGPT as your physiotherapist.”
➡️ AI can’t assess your movement, examine your injury, or create a treatment plan that’s tailored to you.

❌ “I’ll wait, rest it and see if it gets better.”
➡️ Time alone doesn’t fix every injury. The right assessment and treatment can help you recover faster and prevent the problem from lingering.

❌ “My MRI says I’m broken.”
➡️ Imaging is only one piece of the puzzle. Many people have “abnormal” findings without pain, while others have pain with perfectly normal scans.

❌ “Lifting weights is bad for your back.”
➡️ When done with proper technique and the right progression, strength training is one of the best ways to build a stronger, healthier, and more resilient back.

Don’t let these myths keep you on the sidelines. ⚽

While we might not know how to fix your terrible slice, as physios, we do know exactly how to fix the stiff hips and locked-up spine that are ruining your power output (and making you wake up sore tomorrow morning).
If you are rolling up to the first hole, doing two lazy practice swings, and calling that a "warm-up"—your lower back is screaming for help. 🛑
Grab your driver and spend 2-3 minutes doing these 4 on-course mobility moves before you play. No lying in the damp grass required:

🔄 1. Trunk Rotations
How: Rack the club across your upper back/traps (not your neck!). Sink into your golf stance. Twist your torso side-to-side.
Reps: 10–12 smooth rotations per side.

2. Supported Lateral Lunges
How: Plant your club vertically into the grass. Hold the top for balance and step into a wide side-lunge, keeping the opposite leg straight.
Reps: 6–8 per side.

🏌️‍♂️ 3. Supported Hip Hinge & Lat Stretch
How: Keep the club planted vertically, one hand stacked on top. Soft bend in the knees, then hinge forward from the hips, dropping your chest toward the turf.
Physio Cue: Think about pushing the wall away behind you with your hips to maximize the hamstring and shoulder blade stretch.
Reps: Hold for 2–3 seconds at the bottom; repeat 4-5 times per side.

💪 4. The Under-Arm Club Crank
How: Hold the club at shoulder height, elbow bent at 90 degrees. Let the shaft hang down behind your upper arm. Reach your other hand across, grab the bottom of the shaft, and gently pull it forward.
Physio Cue: This creates a passive external rotation stretch. Your trail shoulder needs this exact range to properly "slot" the club on your downswing without compensating.
Reps: 5 gentle, rhythmic "cranks" per side (don't force it!).

Save this video for your next tee time, and send it to your favourite golfing buddy who desperately needs to stop playing through back pain 👇

⚽🏆 World Cup fever is here!

While the pros are competing on the world’s biggest stage, we’re putting our soccer skills to the test with a little juggling, agility work, dribbling, cutting, and a dynamic warm-up.

Soccer demands speed, balance, coordination, strength, and quick changes of direction—and whether you’re playing competitively, in a recreational league, or just kicking the ball around with friends, staying healthy and injury-free is key.

If pain, stiffness, or an injury is keeping you on the sidelines, our team is here to help you move and perform better and get you back to doing what you love ⚽️
