On this special day, may we all show our mom's in one way or another, how incredible she is, how much we love her, & we appreciate everything she has done for us & continues to do every day. Today, give her a longer than normal hug & tell her, "I love you, mom.

It's not a surprise that when we have to say goodbye to someone we love, it hurts & it leaves a hole in our hearts that we feel couldn't possibly heal. Trust me, I've been there, who hasn't? But through the pain, please remember there are reasons to smile. Like when someone shares a funny memory of their loved one with us or stories that show us just how much of a wonderful human being they were & they lived life to the fullest. Those are reasons to smile.

We had the honor of celebrating a life, who was very obviously adored by so many. And through the sadness and loss, there were reasons to smile. One of those, you can see in this picture. Having so many from the hockey community, proudly wearing their jerseys, coming together to say goodbye to one of their own. That was a reason to smile. Never stop searching for those opportunities. They are there; we just have to look for them. 🀍
