Red Roof Recovery The creation of Red Roof Recovery happened because I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. It was the game-changer for me! Kristine C.

Tanya MacIntyre - founder of Red Roof Recovery and its training division MHFA ~ Mental Health Fitness Alliance - uses her own lived experience with managing mental health & addiction illnesses to empower others to build sustainable recovery and wellness. Hi, I'm Tanya MacIntyre - the founder of Red Roof Recovery & MHFA ~ Mental Health Fitness Alliance ~ in the beautiful lakeside town of Goderich, Ontario, Canada. I had been self-medicating my depression, anxiety, & trauma with alcohol & other drugs for most of my adult life. After 8 years of setbacks while attending in 12-step programs, I found an evidence-based program that focused on cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT). I offer a 15 minute phone consultation to share what works for me and what might work for you. I often have same day/next day appointments available. https://calendly.com/redroofrecovery. Online is fine as well:

Here's a comment from one of several happy clients:

The time I spent with Tanya is invaluable, and I am so incredibly grateful. My outlook on life and its challenges has improved, and I feel much lighter, like a weight has been lifted. I am testimony that Tanya’s program is effective."

Your energy grows when you nourish your mind, body, and life with what truly supports you. Learn, move, rest, spend time in nature, practice gratitude, and simplify. Protect your energy by letting go of fear, stress, clutter, overthinking, and what no longer serves you.

Unconditional Acceptance for ourselves, for others, and for life can be a long bridge to cross every day.

Just as we train our bodies for strength and endurance, we can train our minds for clarity, steadiness, and self-trust. All it takes is patience, practice, and persistence. What we practice grows stronger. 💫

I'm thankful to be a regular contributor to the Goderich Sun ~ where my articles are always themed around Better Mental Health.

I decided to repurpose those articles into SHORT AUDIO reflections called The Harmonious Mind.

For years, I’ve watched people try to “think” their way out of stress.

But stress also lives in the body.

That’s why I’ve created Mind Mojo™ Private — a one-to-one therapeutic Tai Chi experience designed to calm your nervous system and restore balance from the inside out.

This is structured mental health support through movement.

If you’re ready to feel steady again, I’d be honoured to guide you. Online sessions available as well as in-person sessions in Goderich, ON.
