On Friday August 21st Grandview Gateways hosted our annual FUN IN THE SUN event. The event was an incredible success....!!! In attendance were our Gateways Crew, Winnipegosis, Dauphin, Swan River, and Ste Rose Agencies whom we are proud to say all had a great time at our Country, Western Themed event.

Thank you to our Entertainment Daylin James for an outstanding and engaging performance.

I wish to thank Ken M and Cammy S for their dedicated work in putting together and organizing the event. Also thanks to our Admin, Support staff, and Volunteers for their work setting up, at the event and clean-up. Thank You to our Support Staff at the Friendly Corner Bakeshop for keeping things running during our event.

Finally a HUGE THANK YOU to all the businesses and individuals for their immense generosity. All your donations made the event's success possible. ( Names of all contributors are on The Friendly Corner Bakeshop page)
We all look forward to Next Year !!!!!!!

Good afternoon Grandview, we seem to have had a run in with some vandals on AUGUST 1, 2026. The two male individuals and 1 female individual went up and down main street that day and ripped apart local businesses property, we and a few other businesses know who the individuals are.
This is all cost to the owners of the business(s) who take pride in decorating their front display.
We hope that as a strong willed community like Grandview we can work together to ensure that any type of vandalism gets noticed so that we can work together for a solution.

Donations can be made prior to the event at the Bake Shop. Tax receipts will be issued on the day of the event.

GOOD MORNING!!! I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that donated to our fundraiser for the service dog for "BOLT". It was a great success and I am honored to be a part of this amazing community!! We will have the pledge sheets until Friday May 23rd, so if you were unable to get to the fundraising event you will still be able to make that donation. Just come down to the bakeshop and ask for Heidie or Cammy and we will make it happen. Again, thank you all for your continued support, your care and consideration is admirable.
