Because every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas, in their own special way! ❤️

We’re excited to bring back MJ Squared’s Sensory Santa, and this year we’re making it even more magical and inclusive!

✨ Here’s what to look forward to:

🎅 A relaxed, sensory-friendly Santa experience

🧸 Sensory Cozy Corner – A calming space for little ones who need a break.

💌 Letter to Santa Stand – With LAMP-assisted support, helping non-speaking children share their Christmas wishes, too!

📸 Professional Christmas photos to treasure.

🚀 MJ Squared Update!

We’re excited to share that MJ Squared has officially moved into the final stage of development!

A huge thank you to Innovate Northwest for supporting us with the funding needed to help get the app over the line. We’re incredibly grateful for the support and for everyone who has continued to believe in what we’re building. Jane Hunter-Uhryn that you for your constant support on this journey.

For those who may be new here, MJ Squared is a platform created to help parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children more easily connect with local resources, services, programs, and community supports, all in one place.

Over the next couple of weeks, our team will be completing the final development work and preparing to begin beta testing. 🎉

We’re now looking for families who would be interested in being part of our beta testing group. Your feedback will help us identify what works well, what needs improvement, and how we can make the platform as useful and family-friendly as possible before launch.

Dear families. We are currently finalizing the planning for this year’s Sensory Santa event, and we would love to hear from families who attended in previous years. ❤️

Your experience matters to us, and we want to continue making this event as welcoming, comfortable, inclusive, and enjoyable as possible for neurodivergent children and their families.

What would you like to see different or improved this year? Was there anything you loved that you definitely want us to keep?

Whether it’s the setup, activities, wait times, sensory supports, photo experience, scheduling, or anything else, we’d love your honest feedback.

Wishing all students, families, teachers, and school staff a wonderful back-to-school season! 📚✏️💚 As we head into a new school year, remember that every child learns, communicates, grows, and experiences the world differently. Kids come with all abilities, and a little patience, understanding, inclusion, and kindness can make a huge difference. Let’s teach our children to choose kindness, celebrate differences, and make sure everyone feels like they belong. 💙💚

At MJ Squared, we’re proud to learn that the Grande Prairie Airshow will have a Compassionate Tent available on the grounds for families caring for children with unique needs, both physical and cognitive.

Having a quiet, supportive space can make all the difference, allowing more families to enjoy an incredible community event together.

✨ Even better: There are a limited number of FREE tickets available for Sunday, August 2 for families caring for these amazing kiddos.

We know it’s been quiet around here… but MJ Squared never stopped. 💙

Behind the scenes, we’ve continued meeting incredible families,learning, dreaming, and working toward something bigger than ourselves.

As parents of a child with special needs, we know this journey isn’t always easy. Some seasons require us to pause, regroup, and refocus.

Today we celebrate the most incredible little girl who has changed our lives in ways we never imagined. Your smile lights up every room, your strength inspires us every single day, and your love has taught us the true meaning of patience, resilience, and unconditional love.

Watching you grow has been the greatest blessing. Every milestone, every laugh, every hug, and every little victory fills our hearts with so much pride. You remind us that life isn’t about comparing journeys it’s about celebrating every step forward, no matter how big or small.
