I am now able to offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy as Part of my Practice. Many of you might be wondering What is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), here is a short description.

Unlike other forms of therapy that take weeks, months and sometimes years to resolve a problem, clients going through ART regularly report symptom relief or complete resolution of the problem within 1-5 sessions. Making ART one of the most efficient evidence based treatments for resolving trauma, depression, anxiety, phobias, and eating disorders. It can even be used to find peace during stressful circumstances beyond our control.

Another added benefit is clients do not need to share any details about what they are processing with the therapist. This is particularly useful for people who do not wish to share details about negative past experiences.

ART is able to this by combining methods of proven therapies like gestalt, somatic experiencing, EMDR and image replacement etc. to create a unique effective and efficient way to resolve distressing events, images or thoughts. You will not forget your experiences, and you will keep all the facts about what happened, but distressing images are replaced with positive ones. Allowing you to be present in the moment instead of being triggered by memories or images from the past.
