Dear Patients,

We are excited to announce that the clinic is open!

In order to meet our commitment to patient safety, we have changed our booking procedures to include pre-screening questions and staggered appointments to help ensure physical distancing is maintained in our clinic. We are asking patients to help us maintain a healthy and safe environment in our clinic by answering pre-screening questions truthfully and following the new procedures in the clinic.



Here are some of the changes we are making at the clinic:

1. Increased sanitation and cleaning of the clinic and treatment rooms

2. Pre-screening patients before they enter our clinic

3. Timing patient visits to allow for physical distancing



In addition to those changes, you will notice some differences when you are being treated Elite Health & Performance. For example:

· You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to fully disinfect.

· Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment at this time.

· We will be restricting the number of people coming to an appointment with the patient, limiting it to one (1) person only.



The above changes may take some time to get used to, but we are making them because the health of our patients and staff remains our top priority.



Remember, if you have experienced a fever, cough, runny nose or difficulty breathing in the last two weeks we will need to know prior to booking.

Dear Elite Health and Performance Family,

Effective Monday (March 30th, 2020), as per the ACAC (Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors), we will temporarily be suspending all Chiropractic services.

At this time our massage therapist will no longer be taking clients until further notice but will inform you once she is able to begin seeing patients again.
We do not take this decision lightly, but the seriousness of the current novel coronavirus pandemic demands for us to put strict limitations on social distancing measures to slow the impact on our health care system. We also understand that our sudden closure can be disruptive for all patients who had appointments, and we sincerely apologize.
We care deeply about the health of our patients, our staff and our community. Right now taking care of your health is most important to us and ask that you remember to continue to exercise, eat healthy and to drink lots of fluids.

Please know that we are keeping a watchful eye as these events progress.
As always the health of our family and our community will always be our first priority.

Alicia is a Registered Massage Therapist with 2200 hours, having attended OVCMT in Vernon BC in 2011 and Grande Prairie Massage College in 2013. Originally from BC, she has lived in numerous cities but now calls Grande Prairie home. At a young age Alicia became interested in pursuing massage therapy after it relieved and helped heal an injury. Alicia’s training in massage focuses on deep tissue therapeutic treatment, fascial techniques as well as offering relaxation therapy. Having practiced mainly in Beaverlodge since moving to Grande Prairie area she is excited to now be available to new and past clients at Elite Health and Performance . An avid animal lover Alicia has 3 dogs, a cat and enjoys training Dressage with her horse. Training in dressage as well as other sports motivates Alicia to assist her clients in maintaining good health, so they can pursue the hobbies that inspire them.
