The pain of navigating a new town is something many families don’t expect to face on top of a medical journey.

Being in an unfamiliar community can mean:

* No support system nearby
* Not knowing what services are available
* Feeling lost trying to find your way around

When everything already feels overwhelming, even simple things like getting to the hospital can add stress and uncertainty.

That’s why location matters. Ken Sargent House is located RIGHT next to the hospital, making it easier for families to stay close to their loved ones without the added challenge of long drives or unfamiliar roads.

Because in difficult times, no one should have to navigate alone.

Construction Update 🏠

Construction continues to move steadily forward at Ken Sargent House, with major progress taking place throughout the interior and exterior of the building. Recent milestones include completed cement board installation, ongoing siding and grading work, major plumbing and electrical rough-ins, and continued progress on insulation, ductwork, sprinklers, and air conditioning systems throughout the House.

Every step brings us closer to opening our doors and providing a safe, affordable, and welcoming home away from home for families traveling to Grande Prairie for medical care.

Thanks to an amazing partnership between Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation and Ken Sargent House, the courtyard at your Grande Prairie Regional Hospital will host young entrepreneurs selling lemonade for Lemonade Day on June 13th!

Even sweeter? The stand was generously donated by Ballad Group and has now been placed at this location for participants to use! 🍋✨
