Meet Ariel 🧜‍♀️🐚

She is available for adoption through the Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter!

Here's a little about her:

Ariel has been patiently waiting for her forever home since March, and we think it’s finally her time to shine!

This beautiful approximately 2-year-old bulldog mix may be a little shy when you first meet her, but don’t let that fool you, once she warms up, Ariel is an incredibly loving and playful pup who will quickly steal your heart.

This past weekend, Ariel enjoyed a much-deserved break from the shelter at a staff member’s home, and she absolutely thrived! She had a blast playing with toys, soaking up cuddles on the couch, and napping peacefully in the sun.

She did wonderfully with the older kids in the home and formed a special bond with the female in the household, showing just how deeply she can connect with her people.

Ariel is ready for a home where she can continue to blossom and be loved the way she deserves.

It's time for the Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter Pet of the Week!

Meet Éclair!

"When Éclair was picked up by an animal control officer, they could smell her before they even saw her. She was rushed to the emergency vet because everyone feared the worst. Fortunately, it turned out she wasn’t “rotting” at all—she was suffering from severe neglect.
Overweight and unable to groom herself properly, Éclair developed a deep infection around her rear end. With dedicated care, treatment, and patience, she has made a remarkable recovery and is now ready to find a quiet, loving home.

Éclair is a sweet, cream-puff of a cat who loves to sing, purr, and enjoy the company of her people. She will need a family committed to helping her maintain a healthy weight and providing bum baths to keep her comfortable. She gets along wonderfully with other cats and is looking forward to a fresh start with someone willing to give her a helping hand ❤️🐾"
