Meet Mocha 🤎
She is available for adoption through the Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter! Here's a little bit about her:
Don’t let Mocha’s cryptid-like appearance scare you away! Between her two different-colored eyes and her very poor hair coat (which is slowly but surely making a comeback), she may look like she wandered out of the woods after a questionable encounter with Bigfoot—but we promise there’s a sweet, adventurous Husky underneath it all.
Mocha is an 8-year-old Husky who came to us in rough shape. Despite everything she has been through, she still has so much pep in her step and plenty of adventure left in her. She loves to explore, enjoys getting out and about, and can still handle a decent hike or two!
And yes, she is a Husky, so naturally she has opinions—and she is not afraid to share them. Mocha is quite the talker and will happily let you know exactly what she thinks.
Mocha has not been tested with other dogs, so she would do best as the only dog in the home, or with a slow and controlled introduction to another dog to ensure everyone is comfortable.
Because of the life she lived before coming into our care, Mocha has some medical needs that will need to be addressed in her new home. She will need an adopter who is prepared to continue giving her the care and attention she needs. Because of this, her adoption fee will be reduced.

Mocha may look a little unconventional, but underneath the crazy exterior is a sweet girl with a big personality, a love for adventure, and so much life left to live.
