I haven't posted in a while, life has been busy.
Between work and being back at school part-time, posting took a back seat for a bit.
Back in the summer of 2025, I set some personal goals rooted in self-care. This is something I talk about often, but like many of us, don’t always prioritize for myself. With a new year here, I wanted to revisit them, share where my focus is, and hold myself accountable. If it inspires you to reflect on your own goals too, even better.
✨Practice gratitude regularly
It’s easy to focus on what’s going wrong or what’s missing, and just as easy to take the good for granted. This goal is about intentionally noticing and appreciating what’s already there, even on hard days.
🥗Get less takeout
Living a busy life means it’s often the most convenient option. This isn’t about guilt or restriction it’s about being more mindful and choosing meals more often to better support my body and energy.
🚶♀️Move every day
While my job is physical, this goal is about intentional movement, not just what my work demands. Even if it's just a nice and relaxing walk on a Sunday.
⏰ Better time management
Protecting my time allows me to show up more present for my clients, my studies, and myself.
🤍 Give myself grace
Progress isn’t linear. Rest, slower days, and setbacks are part of the process, not failures.
🌿 Be more mindful
Creating space to check in with my body and nervous system instead of running on autopilot.
✨️Here’s to revisiting intentions, not striving for perfection, and remembering that caring for ourselves allows us to care better for others 🥂
