Dr. Parsons was proud to partner with Melanoma Canada for a community mole mapping event, where we had the opportunity to see and educate over 100 people about skin cancer awareness and prevention.

Early detection saves lives, and events like these are an important reminder to check your skin regularly and protect it from harmful UV exposure.

As we head into summer, don’t forget your sunscreen! Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, reapply every 90mins when outdoors, and seek shade whenever possible.

A special highlight of the day was having Dr. Parsons’ son, Izaak, there to see his mom giving back to the community. It was a proud and meaningful moment for both of them—and a wonderful reminder that community care starts with setting an example for the next generation. ☀️💙
