Therapy still works when itâs nice outside, we promise!Â
Our environment, including the seasons and weather can have a big impact on our mental health. That might mean that you start to feel better this time of year. Weâre here to tell you that therapy can still be effective and helpful, even if things have stabilized and your symptoms are improving.Â
In fact, some of the deepest growth can happen once things have stabilized. When youâre no longer just trying to survive the week, thereâs more space to reflect, process patterns, build insight, and make intentional changes.
Crisis therapy often focuses on safety, coping, and getting through. Stable therapy can open the door to exploring identity, relationships, boundaries, self-worth, attachment, and the life you actually want to create.
You donât have to be falling apart to benefit from therapy. Sometimes healing happens most effectively when your nervous system finally has enough calm to do the deeper work. đż
Think of it like this: if youâre too busy putting out fires, youâre not working on why the fires start in the first place.Â
