Security systems installed now. Time for networking and computer install. Could be a long night. As my favourite baseball player says “Let’s Go!!!”

All lit up with nowhere to go. Yet. We’re getting closer.

1st bit of flooring in now. Got some nice tile installed and covered up to protect it while the reno continues. Fresh concrete poured to fix up some damaged area there too. More flooring work up next to cover up the old white tile I don’t like. Happy to see things moving along!

I ordered these lights in July from a company called Montreal Lighting. They finally arrived today and 2 of 3 are marked as defective lol😂. This is how they arrived to me. Best to laugh at stuff like this I suppose. Guess these ones are going back. Also guess I won’t be ordering from these clowns again!

We’re hoping for an early November opening now thanks to a bunch of delays out of our control (see above for a minor example). We’ll get there eventually!

We’ve finally got walls! Permits and 1st inspections done and things are moving in the right direction again

Not all “Opening a pharmacy” posts come from the pharmacy. It’s computer building day! Which is way more fun than the last 6 weeks of waiting-for-permits days. Really got sick of that particular Groundhog Day. But finally have some progress on that too :)

Haven’t had an update in a bit, because sadly there has been little to update. The City of Guelph has decided to hold up my permits for frivolous reasons, which has held up the whole process. But here’s a nice coming soon banner. It was ordered during a more naive and optimistic time, so take “September” with a grain of salt. But it’ll open as soon as I can make it happen.

Not a super exciting post today. But still a victory. If you’ve ever had to deal with the headache that is Bell, you can likely relate. A small victory, but we’ve finally got a phone number.

Don’t call yet though. Still more than a month away from opening and a long way to go!
