Pop a molly I’m sweatin’, but it ain’t because of this heatwave, it’s because we’re well within spitting distance of this smokin’ hot bill at Heartwood Concert Hall.

Verrry thrilled to be venturing back to the fount from which all good things spring forth - Grey-Bruce County - with Animal Boy and Thresher (OwnSound Recordings) in tow.

This is a bit of a homecoming for me and and it’s an honour to have old pals from the days of weeknight Harb gigs and festivals in my dad’s living room setting the tone for the evening.

All of which is to say: once and future county boys, please come to the gig! It’d mean a lot.

Thrilled to be reuniting with the brilliant Sunglaciers next Monday at Upbeat Guitar Studio!

The sunnies have trekked it all the way from Calgary touring behind their great new record, Regular Nature, and we are honoured to be opening the night for them at this weeknight heater at the best venue in the centre of the universe Guelph, ON.

All of which is to say: it is crucial(!) that you come to the DIY post-punk show in the basement under the Works. There will be vegan food! There will be carbonated beverages! There will be good times had by all! If you stop rockin’, you die!!!!

We are putting the college back in college rock on April 5th with longtime homies Animal Boy and PRRR!

Honoured to return to the site of my regrettable alt-country phase where I’d play bad Whiskeytown covers (yikes!) in the hopes that girls in environmental science would notice me (they did not!). Somehow the Bullring eventually decided to pay me $75 and free tikka to do this every week and, in a bit of synchronicity, I last set foot on the stage nine (!!!) years ago today.

Anyway, if you are a student or just a fellow old who can manage the walk up Gordon hill, come thru to this PWYC show and gaze upon what time hath wrought. Our band could be yr life!!!!

Very proud to announce that Habit will be playing this year’s Riverfest Elora! We’ll be bringing the new noise theology to Elora Brewing Company with Montréal’s Family Man for Friday night’s afterparty. Stumble over in that post-Violent Femmes glow and catch us - the world’s most depressed bar band - in our honest-to-god prime!

What’s more is that, for all those famously ravenous post-punk fans out there who just can’t wait to get their fix, we’ll be playing Jimmy Jazz Guelph TONIGHT with Leona Hell, Mononegatives, and World Eaters. Fu**ed up children of this world, come thru.
