Ever wonder why diabetes often affects the feet? 👣

Over time, high blood sugar can damage both the nerves and the small blood vessels that support them. When this happens, nerves don’t send signals properly—leading to numbness, tingling, burning, or pain.

 By applying gentle pressure to specific areas, reflexology may help improve local circulation, promote relaxation, and ease tension. Many people find it helps reduce discomfort and brings a sense of relief and connection back to their feet.

It’s important to know that reflexology doesn’t treat or reverse nerve damage. Managing blood sugar and working with your healthcare provider is key.

✨ Change Coming ✨

There will be some changes in the clinic space in the coming months.

Kristen from has made the difficult decision to leave the commercial space. She needs to be home with her young kids for the summer and to refocus Woodside and open her in-home and mobile treatments come the fall.

What will change for Guelph Reflexology and my clients? Not much!!

As of July 1st, myself and Paige from .horizons.therapy will be taking over the space for at least the next year. We are excited to be able to continue on in this beautiful space.

There will be some transition time for moving furniture but not a lot else will disrupt regular business hours.

Kristen’s room has already been rented out full-time but I still have some part-time hours available in my space. DM for details.

There also might be some opportunity for back room rentals for workshops. We want to take advantage of all the hard work and gorgeous vision that Kristen put into this space. We will continue to respect the love that she has poured out here.
