Eye injuries can happen quickly and some need urgent attention!

Seek care for sudden vision changes, severe pain, light sensitivity, chemical exposure, cuts or punctures, an object stuck in the eye, bleeding or significant swelling.

Don’t rub or press on the eye, and never remove an embedded object. For a chemical splash, rinse immediately with clean, lukewarm water for at least 20 minutes, then seek emergency care.

Not sure what to do? Contact our Rockwood or Guelph office for guidance and prompt assessment. For severe injuries, visit your nearest emergency department.

Fall allergies can leave your eyes feeling itchy, red, watery and irritated. 🍂👀

Avoid rubbing your eyes, wash your face after spending time outdoors and try a cool compress for a little extra relief.

Looking for another option? Zaspray® is a preservative free eye spray that helps soothe, hydrate and lubricate dry, itchy eyes caused by allergies.

Available at our Rockwood and Guelph offices. Ask our team if Zaspray may be right for you!
