Gaming addiction has become increasingly more common mental health condition. Gaming addiction is a behavioural addiction characterized by excessive and compulsive use of a digital game that impacts their well-being and daily functioning.

Recovery from gaming addiction requires individuals specialized in addiction who have a comprehensive understanding of gaming addiction and can provide empathy and support. Psychotherapy can serve as a supportive tool to enhance overall mental health, promote healthier habits, and facilitate a deeper understanding of the factors driving the addiction.

Trauma's working definition is that trauma is the experience of an event that is distressing beyond what one would consider to be a "normal" high-stress event. Trauma recovery is not an easy process. It takes time, energy, and pain. Please remember that no one else's trauma can diminish yours. Everyone, no matter what event they experienced, deserves support and recovery.

At Chettiar Counselling we have trained therapists who are here to support you through your recovery; At the same time, they will help you build resilience throughout the process. To book a free consultation, check out our website (linked in our bio).
