SJA Guelph was proud to be on site supporting the Centre Wellington Bike/Walk/Run in Fergus.

A huge congratulations to everyone who participated, volunteered, and helped raise funds for cancer research. Your efforts help keep Terry’s dream alive! 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♂️🎗️

Another great weekend at the 2026 Fergus Scottish Festival & Highland Games. SJA volunteers got to take in all the sights and sounds of Scotland from pipes & drums to heavy events to Highland dancing, and a few even sampled some cultural food..... a.k.a. Haggis!

Back in July our volunteers were excited to provide first aid services at Hillside Festival 2026. It was quite the adventure for our hard working volunteers, especially thanks to wild fire smoke and weather! But we think they still had a great time! Happy Hillside and looking forward to Hillside 2027!

Sending thank yous out to not just our volunteers, but all volunteers out there who help facilitate Canada Day festivities across the country! Guelph SJA volunteers braved the heat and wild weather at Riverside Park here in Guelph. It was definitely a Canada Day for the memory books!

Last night was the first annual Regional Awards Dinner for the Waterloo Wellington Region. Congrats to all the recipients of awards and recognition of hours given to SJA & the community from all of our SJA Community Services Units.

Special congratulations to Guelph MFR's own Vince for earning the first ever Regional Chair Commendation Award! 🎉 Vince has volunteered hundreds of hours at events across Guelph & Wellington County this past year. Vince also deployed to Peterborough and Winnipeg Manitoba this summer to support wild fire evacuation centres through SJA's Emergency Response program. Thanks for all you do for the community Vince!
