I have been working so much on wood-burned fungi and botanicals that I thought it would be both fun and relaxing to see a shortened version of what goes into one of my pieces. If you like this piece, check out more of my art at my website and online store: www.artbykatcreations.com.

Lately I have been focusing on fungi as part of my Botanicals Collection. This 12 inch wood-burned round displays some examples of mushrooms used for medicinal purposes. Mushrooms such as Lion's Mane, Turkey Tail, Chaga, and Reishi can be used (under advisement of a health professional) to boost the immune system, calm anxiety, lower inflammation, increase memory, and even help with breast cancer.
