I work with mothers who are no longer interested in following mainstream advice just because it’s loud or widely accepted. 🙌

Mothers who are questioning the constant push to do more, plan more, optimize more—and who want something quieter, more honest, and more attuned.

Women who are learning to come back to themselves again, and to understand their nervous system not as something to override, but as something to listen to.

There’s been a lot of messaging lately about summer.

How to plan it, optimize it, make it unforgettable.

Especially for mothers.

And I’ve been noticing how quickly that can turn into pressure—subtle, but heavy.

The sense that we need to perform this season in order for it to matter.

Or to be a “good” mother.

I don’t think that serves us very well.💯

Not when we’re already carrying so much.

Not when our nervous systems are already full.

What if we didn’t need to perform summer at all?

What if we could let spring be spring—let things emerge slowly, without rushing ahead?

And what if summer didn’t have to be the “best one yet,” but simply a season we move into more honestly, more present to what we actually need?

✨For us.
✨For our children.
✨For the rhythm of our lives.

I keep coming back to this quieter way of doing things.

One that isn’t built on pressure or comparison, but on listening.

To ourselves.
To our kids.
To what is actually here.

I want that kind of summer for us.🌱
For mothers who are done performing even their joy.

For all of us learning to do this differently.

Comment “MY summer” if this speaks to you!💛

Days 7-13
✨ 30 Days of Light ✨

I’ve been busy living life the past several days.

Oscillating between exhaustion, chaos, pausing to see the light and beauty, and just plain being a human trying so the best I can with what I have at the moment. 😄

Remembering that it call ALL coexist together; the hard
the beauty
the overwhelm
the struggle
the light
the too much

It’s NEVER “good vibes only”. That’s just not reality for anyone.

And that’s why I’m doing this ✨30 days of light✨

The light in ordinary moments… in pauses, in the unnoticed, in what we often rush past.

A way to break from seeing only the struggle and gently rewrite our neural pathways, one day at a time.

A way to remind my nervous system that alongside the fullness, there is also beauty. Light. Enoughness.

This is a practice friends- and practice means that you are allow to mess it up.

So continue being messy with me and find that daily moment of light.

Here is a recap of days 7-13

7. Morning light on my face
8. Fresh new essential oil soap
9. Beauty and power of candlelight
10. Café hang by myself
11. Dog energy
12. Turning toward the sun in grey days
13. Calm and quiet moments

Day 6
✨30 days of light✨

Taking the time to intentionally make myself a chai latté ☕️

Just the way I like it.
In my favourite mug.

A simple ritual that brings warmth and beauty my day.

So much sweeter than stopping at a drive through or drinking out of a paper cup.

A simple act rooted in self love because I took the time to bring this kind of light to my day.

It’s the small moments of beauty that add up to make a life full of light ✨

What’s your favorite mini way to bring warmth and beauty to your day?

Day 4
✨ 30 Days of Light ✨

Resting radically

The beauty in surrendering to what the body needs in real time.

My toddler is napping upstairs and my husband is out with the two others-something that pretty much never happens.

I am home alone. 🙌

I could…

-Finally organize the laundry room without kids pulling stuff out
-Do dishes
-Workout
-food prep
-reply to messages
-fold clothes….

You know how this goes…

Needing to capitalize on every moment because you don’t know the next time you can…

Because there’s alway stuff to do

…But truthfully I’m exhausted
I’m on day 1 of my bleed
I’m lethargic and really want to lay and do nothing.

So, I choose to fill the next 45 minutes of my time by letting light and beauty in my day by doing nothing and cuddling up to my hot water bottle and just lay here.

By honouring your immediate needs for rest, you might actually be surprised at how little you need

I didn’t “earn” my rest, I CLAIMED it.

And best of all, I won’t be in that constant chase of rest because I honoured that for myself in that moment.

Yes, I would take more, but there is a feeling of “enoughness” when we claim it for ourselves as opposed to view rest from a place of scarcity.

Resting does not make us flawed, it makes us attuned.

It is one of the greatest forms of revolutionary self love in today’s culture.

🌱In what ways can you allow yourself to rest when it’s not convenient?
🌱How do you listen to subtle signs that you need to honour this need in the moment?

Day 4
✨ 30 Days of Light ✨

About once a month, I bring fresh flowers into our home.
In the summer, it becomes a weekly ritual to gather wildflowers and placing little bouquets throughout the house.

Creating beauty and light in our space is something I return to again and again.
It’s at the heart of how I care for our home and for myself.

It’s easy to overlook this when things feel chaotic or messy.
To tell ourselves it doesn’t really matter when life feels hard.

But it does. It really does.

Beauty shifts the energy.
It brings life.
Softness.
Vibrancy.
It gives the space room to breathe.

In the depths of winter, flowers feel especially meaningful.
Little bursts of colour and aliveness when everything outside is still.

A quiet reminder that blooming is still possible, even in difficult seasons.

Where in your life are you being invited to bloom right now?

What might that look like for you?

Day 3
✨30 days of light✨

This little pile of clothes?

It’s become a doorway back to claiming something for myself. ✨

Every night, I lay them out quietly—just outside my room—so I can slip out in the early morning without waking the baby and my 4 year old.

It’s a small ritual, but it’s changed so much.

Because I’ve become a morning person.

I never thought I’d say that.

For years, my sleep felt sacred (and still is). With babies, night wakings, and having at least one child with me all day, the idea of waking up before my kids felt impossible. Especially since I am still nursing my youngest.

I used to hear about moms doing that and think, “How??”

But about a year ago, something shifted.

I realized that if I didn’t consciously create a plan for myself to workout in the morning it just wasn’t going to happen. Not in this season of life because of the unique needs of my kids.

And now, those early moments feel like medicine.

No one calling my name
No one needing anything
Just quiet, movement, breath… and me

I come back to my family a little more grounded, a little more regulated, a little more here.

I’m so grateful this is possible—and for my husband who ultimately has to be there when they wake up.

A year ago, this felt completely out of reach. Truly. I NEVER dreamed this was possible. The barriers to doing this felt IMMENSE.

Between the brain fog, the constant needs, and the mental load, I just couldn’t fathom HOW.

Yet, I put it out there and did it.

But sometimes, the things that feel impossible just need a different kind of doorway.

If you’re in a season where it feels like it’s hard for you to claim space to do something little that is meaningful, I see you. And I also believe there is a way. Our minds are our biggest blocks.

Day 3
✨Light and beauty in water✨

I am fortunate to live close by to a mountain spring water source. 💦

It has become a bi-monthly ritual to go and fill up our jugs for our drinking and cooking water.

What can be perceived as a chore or a barrier is really a deeply sacred gift.

Our modern society does not collect water
We have it delivered to us in the comforts of our own homes.

Somehow, we’ve conditioned ourselves to believe that we are “beyond that” and that we deserve it on demand.

But there is something sacred in this ritual of going to get it.

It reminds me that things are there for us if we open our eyes and really peel things down to the basics.

A deeper appreciation and relationship to water and ultimately life.

No need to spend hundreds of dollars on expensive purifiers if it’s there for us in it’s natural state.

Water literally re-structures (the crystals change shape) to certain words or emotions - so powerful.

So, today, let light flow through you in the form of water. There’s tremendous beauty in that.

It’s magical and powerful in the moment if we invite ourselves into a different relationship with how we view small daily things. 💛

✨30 Days of Light✨
A devotion to beauty in daily life

Starting tomorrow, I’m beginning a quiet 30-day practice — something deeply needed after a long, hard winter of burnout and struggle. 💛

Each day, I’ll share a photograph that captures light — not just what is seen, but what is felt. The light in ordinary moments… in pauses, in the unnoticed, in what we often rush past. 🙏

🪷Inspired by Amaterasu, the goddess who brings light to the world, I’m inviting us — especially mothers — to become daily collectors of beauty and radiance.

Because the truth is, we hold so much.
Our children’s emotions, the breaking of old patterns, the invisible work of doing things differently.

And it’s easy to become wired for the struggle.

I feel that deeply as a full-time caregiver to three young children, one with special needs. My days are full and meaningful — and also demanding.

This practice is my way of gently interrupting that pattern.

A way to remind my nervous system that alongside the fullness, there is also beauty. Light. Enoughness.

A small daily devotion — not to perfection, but to presence.

To noticing what is already here.

To honoring the sacred in everyday life.

If you’re in a season of holding a lot, I’d love for you to join me.

Let’s do light together ✨

After almost 3 years off this platform, I’m poking my head back on here to say 👋 after time away.

The powers that be elevated my life journey and decided to bring our family a little catalyst baby boy almost 2 years ago. ✨

He came to us at a time where, for some would feel highly inconvenient.

But for us, it was an invitation to level up in our family, parenting, and marriage. And I was there for it. 💖

Shortly after becoming pregnant, I decided to pause it all to offer presence and consciousness to what matters the most. What’s at the heart of life, purpose, and life.

It’s been an initiation and a very deeply moving journey to say the least.

My daily experience can get stuck in the perceived struggle of having a kid with needs that differ from the norm (or what some would call “special needs”) and two other very active young boys at home.

I’m momming hard these days!💪

☀️Yet, here I am almost 3 years later and I’m even more so deeply committed to serve mothers.

✨To allow them to re-connect with that fire within.

✨To be a vessel for acceptance and love.

✨To see the beauty and the sacred in all mothers.

✨To continue providing transformational spaces with ritual and intention.

That’s one of my superpowers after all 🦸‍♀️

💫All in its own divine timing.

Join me on this continued journey.

Drop a ❤️ if you feel this.
