That’s a wrap on treating this evening! 🎬

I am absolutely loving the electric elevation chiro table 😍 Functional and oh so beautiful 🤩 Ergonomics in our day-to-day activities matter…we have to practice ourselves what we tell patients so adjustable equipment is needed!

Treatment spotlight: repetitive strain & knee pain🦵

What happens when the chiropractor needs treatment?? 🤔 They go see their favourite providers and maaaaybe occasionally self treat a few spots of muscle tightness on their own between appointments. With moderate-high load gym sessions a few times per week and affected work ergonomics over the past few months while I was still using a non-elevation table in the office, the altered biomechanics in my lower body contributed to some leg muscle strain and overall knee pressure and inner knee discomfort.

Consistent ergonomic or movement issues can contribute to onset of pain or other symptoms over time. Plus, sometimes joint pain can be less related to the joint itself but more about muscles crossing the joints! I appreciate having great providers in my corner as it’s harder to be objective about your own body so proper assessment and diagnosis is needed before treating, but it’s nice to occasionally help myself too between appointments in safely accessible spots for electroacupuncture followed by some dynamic cupping for soft tissue tension.

It’s office relocation slash moving day! “New year new me” took an extra few minutes, but we’re officially in the new bigger office just down the hall. Same space and address, new office layout! 🤩
