😌 Stress Less. Feel Better.

Stress and anxiety don't just affect your mind—they can have a significant impact on your body as well. Common physical symptoms include muscle tension, headaches, jaw pain, poor sleep, fatigue, and increased aches and pains.

Massage therapy helps calm the nervous system, promotes relaxation, and encourages the release of natural feel-good chemicals that support overall well-being.

Many people find regular massage therapy helps them better manage stress and anxiety, and in some cases may reduce their reliance on medications as part of a broader health management strategy discussed with their healthcare provider.

Take some time to care for both your mind and body.

Continuing education is key to providing the highest quality care!

Last week, our physiotherapist Joel Buckler was attending the Canadian Physiotherapy Association National Congress, connecting with colleagues from across the country and learning about the latest research, treatment approaches, and innovations in physiotherapy.

We're excited to bring new knowledge and evidence-based practices back to our clinic to help our patients move better, recover faster, and achieve their goals.

🌱 Spring Into Running—Not Into Injury!

As the weather warms up, many runners are eager to get back outside—but sudden increases in activity can lead to common spring injuries like shin splints, runner’s knee, Achilles tendinopathy, and plantar fasciitis.

As a physiotherapist, here are a few key tips to keep you running strong this season:
•Build gradually – Avoid sudden spikes in distance or intensity
•Warm up properly – Dynamic movement prepares muscles and joints
•Strength matters – Incorporate hip, core, and calf strengthening
•Listen to your body – Early discomfort is a warning sign, not something to push through
•Check your footwear – Worn-out shoes can contribute to injury

If pain is limiting your running or not improving, a physiotherapy assessment can help identify the cause and keep you on track for a safe, successful season.

Stay consistent. Stay injury-free. Enjoy the run.
