๐Ÿ˜ฑ It's here. Beware "The Blur."
The Canadian Association of Optometrist is launching their latest digital awareness campaign, shining a spotlight on a growing threat to children's vision: myopia.

"Beware of The Blur" reminds parents that when it comes to childhood myopia, only an optometrist can stop "The Blur." Uncorrected vision problems can affect how a child reads, learns, and participates in the classroom, often without anyone realizing anything is wrong. Only comprehensive eye exams can diagnose myopia. While there is no cure, there are treatment options to slow the progression โ€“ but early detection is key.

You may start seeing "The Blur" creep into your feed over the coming weeks. We encourage you to share it with your communities.

This campaign was made possible in partnership with the New Brunswick Association of Optometrists/Association des Optomรฉtristes NB , Nova Scotia Association of Optometrists, and Prince Edward Island Association of Optometrists, and with the support of our sponsors, Alcon and CooperVision Canada.

Thank you for helping bring children's vision health into focus.
