Hello! I'm Katie with Beyond OT.
As an occupational therapist (OT) I feel so honoured to work alongside children, youth and their families to hear their stories, understand the challenges and together experience joy as your family gets to doing the day to day activities that are meaningful to you. I started Beyond OT in 2021 with the goal of helping families to move beyond survival mode, beyond the power-struggles and beyond doubt to a meaningful and joyful life.
At Beyond OT we offer 1:1 sessions that focus on the assessment of barriers/ lagging skills that are contributing to your child’s difficulty participating in daily activities, parent coaching, psycho-education, and exploring strategies for boosting your child’s performance and confidence.
We also offer group attachment based programming (Circle of Security) for parents (parents-to-be), educators and caregivers.
