Before the weekend festivities begin, our training team recommends a few quick safety steps:
👀 Supervise the Fun: Always keep a close eye on toddlers and young children as they sort through their Easter baskets.
✂️ Prep the Treats: Cut round or hard candies in half, or swap them out for safer, soft options.
🚑 Be Prepared: Know exactly how to respond. In a severe choking emergency, stepping in immediately with 5 back blows and 5 abdominal thrusts (or chest thrusts for infants) can save a life.
