On Saturday, June 13, I will be walking with more than 300 participants at the beautiful Bronte Waterfront Heritage Park (2340 Ontario St, Oakville) for a day of remembrance, connection, and hope.

This is Heartache2Hope’s fifth annual Walk2Remember has already been an incredible success, and we are so grateful to everyone who has registered, donated, and fundraised in support of Heartache2Hope. Thanks to your generosity and dedication, we have already surpassed $100,000 raised toward our goal.

Choosing a Reiki teacher is more than choosing a course. It is choosing lineage, ethics, and how you will hold healing energy for others. 🌿

When searching for your Reiki Master, ask:

✨ Are they rooted in traditional Usui teachings founded by Mikao Usui?

✨ Are they registered with the Canadian Reiki Association and committed to ethical standards?

✨ Do they teach in person, with hands-on practice and supervision?

✨ Can they provide official treatment receipts for benefit plans through the CRA?

Be mindful of fast, fully online certifications that skip the depth and mentorship Reiki was meant to include.

Reiki is experiential. It is embodied. It is learned heart-to-heart.

Choose a teacher who protects the integrity of the practice. 💫

Lily and I would like to share a really nice honour from St John Ambulance as their Instructor of the Year ✨😊

I have really enjoyed teaching first aid and CPR over the past two years and meeting so many interesting people. SJA has a long and rich history of being in service in so many capacities, which really speaks to my love of health and wellness, and in particular, mental health.

Thank you to Tim Bauer and Melanie D’Orsay for the acknowledgment. It means so much to me 😊♥️

I have also recently completed my Instructor Trainers Training and will be teaching our future instructors in 2026! I’m looking forward to mentoring these future IDP candidates and supporting them as I have been.
