As temperatures rise, it is important to remember that hot weather can be dangerous for our pets. Heatstroke can become an emergency much faster than you might realize.

While we look forward to enjoying the hot summer weather, it's important to remember our furry friends cannot cool themselves down the same way we can. Even a short walk on a hot day or time spent in a warm environment can put them at risk.

Keep an eye out for signs such as:
-Excessive panting
-Drooling
-Bright red gums
-Lethargy or Weakness
-Vomiting or Diarrhea
-Stumbling or Collapse

If you notice any of these signs or if your pet isn't acting like themselves, please don't wait to call. Heatstroke is a serious medical emergency and early intervention can be lifesaving.
